What makes the Duo a dual-screen laptop?
GPD’s product listing specifies two 13.3-inch OLED panels. The secondary display rotates 360 degrees and can fold behind the main display, allowing the laptop to be arranged with both screens open or with the second panel folded around the back. Tenkū, a Japanese distributor, described the combined screen area as 18 inches; that is its description of the display area, not a single 18-inch panel.

The recorded total shows that pledges on the tracker substantially exceeded the campaign’s stated goal. It does not demonstrate how the laptop performs in everyday use. The reviewed coverage does not establish independent long-term reliability, battery endurance, thermal behavior, or ergonomics, so the fundraising outcome should not be treated as evidence for those qualities.
The campaign is a historical 2024 event, not a live crowdfunding offer. The available sources also do not establish whether the Duo is currently in stock or what it costs today. For Japan specifically, Tenkū announced a December 13, 2024 release, reported configuration-based yen pricing, named Amazon.co.jp as a sales channel, and described a one-year domestic warranty for its official Japan-market model. Those details apply to that market and announcement; they do not establish current stock, current marketplace listings, or warranty terms elsewhere. Tenkū’s Japan-market release.
