Tom’s Guide names the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro its best gaming phone overall. Its guide lists a 185Hz display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The refresh-rate figure describes the display’s capability; it does not mean every game runs at 185 frames per second. Before choosing a dedicated gaming phone, check whether its advantages match your routine. High-refresh-rate play can place greater demands on the battery, and a large phone may be less comfortable to carry or use for other tasks.
