Apple Invites is a sensible first choice if you already pay for iCloud+ and want a simple event page; Paperless Post is a better fit for designed invitations and richer guest management. Evite is another option for familiar email, text, and link delivery. The right pick depends on who can host, how guests will respond, the look you want, and the total cost for your guest list.

This is a feature-based comparison, not a hands-on usability ranking. Product pages establish what providers say their services offer, not how well each works in practice.

Choose by how you want guests to respond

For broad guest access: Apple Invites

Apple says hosts need an iCloud+ subscription to create invitations, but invitees can RSVP without an Apple Account or Apple device. That distinction matters if your guest list includes people who do not use Apple products. The app is available on iPhone models running iOS 18 or later, and invitations can also be accessed on the web. See Apple’s launch announcement and its Apple Invites support guide for current eligibility details.

For text delivery and design options: Paperless Post

Paperless Post combines stationery-style invitation cards with Flyer event pages that can be shared by email, text, or link. Its feature page limits text delivery to the US and Canada. It also lists guest questions, co-hosting, RSVP management, reminders, and other event tools, though some features require a paid bundle or Paperless Pro. Check the Paperless Post features page and current pricing page before choosing a plan.

Yojaro 4Pack Silicone Suction Phone Case Mount, Silicon Adhesive Smartphones Stand Sticky, Hands-Free Phone Accessories Holder for Selfies and Videos (Black & White & Translucent & Light Pink)
  • 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
  • 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
  • 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
  • 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
  • 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)

For multiple delivery methods: Evite

Evite’s FAQ says invitations can be sent by email, text, or shareable link and that RSVP tracking is available. It also lists an iOS and Android app. The FAQ is older than the current date, so confirm details such as paid-plan inclusions and event limits on Evite’s FAQ before planning a large event.

For a party-focused app: Partiful

Partiful is listed in the App Store as a “Party Invite Maker App,” but the available listing detail does not establish enough about pricing, delivery, guest requirements, or feature limits to compare it fairly. Check those specifics in the app listing and service before committing to it for an event.

Apple EarPods Headphones with USB-C Plug, Wired Ear Buds with Built-in Remote to Control Music, Phone Calls, and Volume
  • SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
  • HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
  • BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
  • COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
  • INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.

Match the app to the event and guest list

  • Casual gathering: Apple Invites can put the RSVP, directions, weather, and event details together, if the host has iCloud+.
  • Formal or design-led occasion: Paperless Post offers stationery-style cards and event pages. Greenvelope also presents itself as a designed-invitation service, but its comparisons and pricing claims come from Greenvelope itself.
  • Guest questions or event coordination: Compare the specific tools you need. Paperless Post lists questions, co-hosts, guest tags, check-in, and RSVP management; Greenvelope says it offers guest questions and delivery tracking. Check which features are included in the plan you select.
  • Mixed Apple and non-Apple guest list: Apple Invites says guests do not need an Apple Account or Apple device to RSVP, reducing a potential access hurdle.
  • Large guest list: Confirm the current per-event limit and plan terms directly with the service. A limit reported in a provider comparison should not be treated as independently verified.

Work out the real cost before sending

Do not compare a free download with a paid invitation plan as if they were equivalent. Apple Invites costs nothing to download, but hosts need iCloud+ to create invitations. Paperless Post displays free and per-guest options as well as an annual Paperless Pro subscription; the relevant price depends on the invitation choice, guest count, and features. Use its pricing page to estimate the total for your event rather than relying on an old quoted rate.

Greenvelope’s September 29, 2026 comparison says its pricing starts at $19 for a mailing of up to 20 guests. That figure is Greenvelope-published, not an independent price comparison, so verify the current offer and what it includes on Greenvelope’s comparison page. Evite’s FAQ describes an annual Pro option, but current price and terms should be checked before purchase.

What Apple Invites adds beyond an RSVP page

Apple describes custom photo or gallery backgrounds, shareable invitation links, RSVP management, Maps directions, Weather forecasts, shared event albums, and collaborative Apple Music playlists. Apple Intelligence features such as Image Playground and Writing Tools are also mentioned, but availability can depend on a user’s device, language, and region. Apple’s announcement is the source for these features; check Apple’s support information for current requirements.

These extras can make sense when a host and guests use Apple’s ecosystem. They are not a reason by themselves to choose the service if iCloud+ is not already part of the host’s setup or if the event needs capabilities better matched by another service.

Before you send invitations

  1. Confirm host eligibility. For Apple Invites, check that the host has iCloud+ and an iPhone running iOS 18 or later, or use the web access Apple provides.
  2. Test the guest path. Make sure the selected service supports the channel you intend to use. If text is essential, note Paperless Post’s stated US-and-Canada limitation and verify the chosen service’s current rules.
  3. Check the exact features and plan. Confirm whether guest questions, reminders, co-hosts, custom URLs, or check-in are included or require a paid option.
  4. Calculate the total for your guest count. Per-guest charges can make two services with similar-looking starting offers cost different amounts at scale.
  5. Verify limits and regional availability. Plan caps, app requirements, and feature availability can change; use current provider pages, especially for large events or region-specific features.
