No. LEGO PlayStation set 72306 is a display model, not an electronic console: it does not boot, connect to a screen, or run games. Its working Power and Open buttons are physical features of the LEGO build, while the *Ape Escape* and *Gran Turismo* references are small removable dioramas—not playable software.
What the LEGO PlayStation set actually does
LEGO describes set 72306 as a display set for adults, and PlayStation calls its buttons “functional mechanisms” on the model. The Power and Open buttons move as built; that mechanical action does not turn the replica into game hardware. The official descriptions do not claim that it powers on as a real PlayStation, connects to a television or monitor, or runs software. LEGO’s product listing and PlayStation Direct’s listing describe the set as a model.
Are games included?
No game discs or playable games are specified. The build includes two removable miniature scenes inspired by *Ape Escape* and *Gran Turismo*. LEGO and PlayStation describe these as dioramas, so they are decorative recreations rather than game content you can launch or play. PlayStation’s announcement also presents them as dioramas.

LEGO announced Insiders early access for October 1, 2026, followed by general availability on October 4, 2026, with availability varying by market.
