The Anker Soundcore Space 2 Pro has a clear strength—and a meaningful caveat. SoundGuys praised its microphones and noise cancelling after a five-day review, but said the sound tuning disappointed. That makes it a more convincing choice for calls than for listeners seeking reliably satisfying music sound.
Does the Soundcore Space 2 Pro sound good for music?
SoundGuys reviewer Adam Birney described the sound quality as disappointing and identified odd tuning as a downside in a review published September 22, 2026. SoundGuys says the company supplied the review unit and that Birney tested it for five days. This is an attributed reviewer assessment, not a claim that every listener will dislike the sound.
The distinction matters: microphone quality is about how clearly other people hear you, while sound tuning shapes what you hear from music. Strong call performance does not establish strong music fidelity. The available review evidence supports caution about the tuning, but does not provide specific frequency-response measurements or a detailed track-by-track account to quantify the issue.
How good is call quality?
Soundcore markets the Space 2 Pro as a call-focused over-ear headphone. Its US product listing names a six-microphone array and its Thus AI chip as call features, alongside Adaptive ANC 3.0, HearID 5.0, LDAC and 35 mm drivers. Those are manufacturer-listed features; they should not be confused with independent proof of performance in every situation.
#1 Best Overall
- The World's Clearest Calls: A proud Guinness World Records title holder for the clearest wireless over-ear headphones for calls — delivering unprecedented voice quality.
- AI-Powered Clear Call Clarity：Thus AI Chip drives a 6-microphone array with real-time voice separation — Your voice cuts through, the background doesn't.
- Adaptive Deep ANC：8-microphone omnidirectional capture with 384K processing and Adaptive ANC 3.0 — precisely cancels mixed dynamic noise (voices, keyboards, HVAC) in open workspaces.
- Personalized Audio：HearID 5.0 audiometric calibration generates a per-ear frequency response curve, delivered over a Hi-Res/LDAC lossless signal path.
- All-Day Comfort： Engineered with an ergonomically optimized headband and soft, skin-friendly ear cushions — delivering pressure-free weight distribution for zero-fatigue extended wear.
SoundGuys’ review offers the independent performance assessment available here: it praised the microphones as well as noise cancelling. Separately, Soundcore’s UK listing says Guinness World Records certified the headphones on August 20, 2026, for the “Highest speech quality score (G-MOS) for wireless over-ear headphones with integrated microphone (objective test).” That is a specific speech-quality record category, not a finding about music fidelity or a guarantee of clear calls in every room.
What do the features mean for listening?
Spatial Audio
Soundcore says Spatial Audio can make the soundstage feel wider and more spacious, but may reduce audio detail. Its guidance says the effect varies by genre and advises against using it for podcasts. It is a processing option, not a fix for the tuning criticism in the SoundGuys review.

LDAC and device compatibility
Soundcore says LDAC requires a compatible playback device and that iOS does not support it. The company also notes that LDAC may use more power and reduce playback time, and that higher bitrates can affect connection stability in some conditions. Spatial Audio and LDAC high-quality mode cannot be enabled at the same time, so listeners may need to choose between them. These are Soundcore’s setup notes, not independent test results. Soundcore’s listening guidance explains these options.
What to check if call quality is poor
If callers cannot hear you clearly, Soundcore’s support guidance points to setup and connection issues worth checking before judging the microphones. Its troubleshooting suggestions are practical steps, not proof that the headphones will perform equally well in all environments.

- Keep the phone within Soundcore’s recommended maximum distance of 9.8 ft (3 m), reduce obstacles and sources of wireless interference, and check connection stability.
- If you use multipoint, check whether it is affecting the active connection or the device selected for the call.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who should consider the Space 2 Pro?
It is most compelling for someone who prioritizes calls and values noise cancelling, while accepting that the independent review criticized its music tuning. It is a less straightforward pick for a music-first listener who wants a confidently praised sound signature. Codec support and the choice between LDAC and Spatial Audio may also matter depending on the playback device and listening preference.

- 4-Stage Adaptive ANC: Senses your surroundings and adjusts noise cancellation in real time, blocking more frequencies than standard ANC. Auto noise reduction perfect for airports, offices, and city streets.
- Hi-Res Audio Experience: Triple-composite drivers deliver Hi-Res certified audio to 40 kHz with deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. Enable LDAC in the free soundcore app for CD-quality wireless streaming.
- All-Day Comfort: Flexible headband self-adjusts without clamping. Soft protein leather and slow-rebound foam cradle your ears through long flights and full workdays.
- 60H Battery + 5-Min Fast Charge: 40 hours with ANC on, 60 hours with ANC off. 5 minutes of charging delivers 8 hours of playtime.
- Folds 50% Smaller: Space One Pro's compact foldable design compresses to half the size, fitting any backpack pocket, carry-on bag, or desk drawer.
Soundcore’s US listing displayed a price of $199.99 when accessed October 4, 2026; that is a time-sensitive listing snapshot, not a guaranteed current price. The listing describes the product and its features, while the listening verdict above comes from SoundGuys’ independent review.
