To install Aniimo on a Windows PC, download its official Windows client, run the installer, click Install Now to install the launcher, then install and start the game from that launcher. Steam and Epic Games Store also list Windows versions. Before downloading, check that your PC meets the requirements and has 40 GB free; Aniimo recommends an SSD.
Check whether your PC can run Aniimo
Aniimo requires 64-bit Windows 10 or later. Its official PC guide says Windows 7, Windows 8, and 32-bit systems cannot run the game. The requirements below are storefront specifications published in 2026, not independent performance test results. The official guide says its recommendations were last updated September 14, 2026, and may change, so check the current store listing or official site before installing.

The CPU, memory, and graphics classes match across these listings, but their recommended DirectX versions differ. Aniimo’s official guide also advises reserving 40 GB for the fully extracted client and recommends installing it on an SSD. Ensure you have enough free space before starting the download.
Choose an installation route
The official direct client, Steam, and Epic Games Store all offer a Windows route. Choose based on the account and launcher you prefer, especially if you are continuing progress from a previous beta.

Aniimo announced a global PC and console launch for September 16, 2026 at 10:00 UTC+8, with PC pre-download opening September 14 at 10:00 UTC+8. Steam displays September 15, 2026 as the release date, while Epic displays September 16; these storefront dates use different platform and time-zone presentations.
Install the official PC client
- Open Aniimo’s official PC launch article and follow its Download Link for the Windows client. Use the official link rather than a third-party mirror.
- Check that at least 40 GB is free. Aniimo recommends an SSD.
- Run the downloaded installer. When the download completes, click Install Now to install the game launcher.
- Open the launcher and use it to install or update Aniimo, then start the game from the launcher.
- To use a different installation folder, open launcher Settings → Choose another folder. The client otherwise installs in the launcher’s directory by default.
Install through Steam or Epic
Steam
- Open the Aniimo Steam listing in the Steam client.
- Select the install option in Steam and follow its prompts.
- If you played an earlier beta using Steam, review the account-linking steps below before choosing an account.
Epic Games Store
- Open the Aniimo Epic Games Store listing in the Epic launcher.
- Select Get and follow the launcher prompts. You need an Epic ID.
- Start the game through the Epic launcher after installation.
Link an existing account and choose the right server
If you used Steam in a previous beta and now want to use a different email account, Aniimo’s FAQ says you can link your Steam account to an Aniimo Pass email account. The link prompt appears after you log in through Steam. If you skip it, the FAQ says you can link later from the in-game Email Link page.

Progress is shared across platforms when you use the same server, but data on different servers is independent. If you are continuing an existing character, pay attention to both the account and server you select.

| Download stuck at 0 or no longer progressing | Restart the PC, reopen Aniimo as administrator, then select Update Game. |
| Verification error, launcher freeze, or black screen | Close the game client, then open launcher Settings → Quick Repair. If it continues, reinstall the launcher. |
| Extraction failure or installation error code | Check available disk space first. If there is enough, check whether antivirus has blocked or quarantined game files. If it has, Aniimo advises allowing or trusting the identified files; do not disable antivirus protection broadly. |
