- Windows will not load: The machine starts but does not reach the desktop.
Keep track of the exact symptoms and any recent changes. That information will help if you need to consult the manual or contact GMKtec.
Fix GMKtec M8 Wi-Fi and network problems
Run Windows’ network troubleshooting flow
GMKtec’s support page gives generic Windows network guidance; it is not a diagnosis specific to the M8’s Wi-Fi hardware. In Windows, open Settings > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Network and Internet, then follow the prompts to troubleshoot or reset network configurations. Restart the router if the issue remains. If you use Ethernet and the connection is also affected, GMKtec’s general guidance suggests checking or replacing the Ethernet cable.

Check the M8-specific Wi-Fi and Bluetooth driver
If Windows works but the Wi-Fi adapter is missing or still unavailable, visit GMKtec’s official support page and locate the M8 downloads. The support listing includes an M8 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth package as well as other M8 drivers. Confirm that the current listing identifies the package for your M8 before installing it; download inventories can change. Do not substitute a driver intended for another GMKtec model.
If the GMKtec M8 will not boot
First distinguish a machine that does not appear to power on from one that starts but cannot load Windows. Record any visible signs of startup, such as whether the GMKtec logo appears, and note any recent software or peripheral changes. The official support material available for this troubleshooting topic does not provide a confirmed M8-specific no-boot sequence or BIOS procedure.

Consult the downloadable M8 user manual or contact GMKtec for model-specific next steps. Do not apply BIOS instructions from a different GMKtec model or attempt firmware flashing based on unverified advice.
If the GMKtec M8 has no display
Note whether the M8 appears to start and whether the GMKtec logo or Windows appears on the connected display. The available official material does not establish an M8-specific no-display diagnostic sequence, so it does not support a particular cable, adapter, BIOS, or hardware fix.

Use the M8 user manual listed by GMKtec or ask GMKtec support for instructions that match your model. Avoid opening the system or changing firmware settings unless the manufacturer’s guidance specifically calls for it.
Reinstalling Windows on the M8
GMKtec’s support listing includes an M8 Windows image. The available listing does not specify how to create installation media, the USB drive capacity required, or the reinstall sequence. Check the current official M8 instructions before starting rather than guessing at those details. A Windows reinstall is a distinct recovery step; do not treat it as a routine Wi-Fi fix.
