A deal story published October 3, 2026 reported the Anker SOLIX C1000 portable power station at $449.98 on Amazon, down from a stated regular price of $599.99. That is a reported $150.01 reduction, or 25%; the offer has not been verified as live on October 4. Check the current Amazon listing before buying.
What the reported Anker deal includes
The offer is for the Anker SOLIX C1000 portable power station, according to a CNCB News syndicated deal story credited to Mashable and published October 3, 2026. The story gave an Amazon price of $449.98 against a stated regular price of $599.99. That dated report does not establish today’s price or stock.
At the reported price, the C1000’s capacity and output make it a substantial option for backup power or off-grid use. Whether it is a good fit depends on the wattage of the devices you intend to run, how long you need them powered, and whether you can recharge the station between uses.
What the SOLIX C1000 can power
Anker lists the C1000 at 1,056Wh of capacity and 1,800W rated AC output. The official product overview lists 11 ports: six AC outlets, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, and one car outlet. The 1,800W rating is the relevant figure when checking whether a device can run from the station’s AC outlets.

Capacity is energy stored, while output is the rate at which the station can deliver power. A device drawing 100W for one hour uses 100Wh, so 1,056Wh is a useful starting point for estimating runtime. It is not a promise of 10.56 hours in practice: conversion losses, the device’s changing draw, and other operating conditions reduce or alter actual runtime. Check the device label or manufacturer specifications for its power demand.
SurgePad is not the rated output
Anker’s user guide says SurgePad can support high-wattage devices up to 2,400W without overload. That feature claim should not be confused with the C1000’s 1,800W rated AC output. Anker also says SurgePad does not work in bypass mode and is not suitable for precision instruments or equipment with strict voltage requirements. Confirm that a specific device is appropriate for the feature rather than relying on the 2,400W figure alone.

Charging and capacity expansion
Anker’s product overview advertises an AC recharge time of 58 minutes using UltraFast mode and solar recharge in 1.8 hours with 600W of solar input. These are manufacturer-stated figures, not guaranteed times; actual charging varies with the input available and conditions.

The guide is regional, so check the exact US product listing and manual for voltage, plug, and accessory compatibility. Confirm that any expansion battery or solar panel matches the C1000 version you own before purchasing.

Is the C1000 worth buying at the reported price?
The October 3 price report gives a useful reference point, but it is not evidence that $449.98 is still available. Compare the current listing price with the reported $449.98 and consider the station’s 1,056Wh capacity and 1,800W rated AC output against your needs. If your expected load exceeds the rated output, or you require a runtime the station cannot provide, the reported discount does not make it the right size.
For a household backup plan, list the devices you would run, add their wattage, and estimate how many hours you need them powered. For longer outages or off-grid use, also consider how you will recharge the station and whether the extra cost and compatibility checks for solar panels or an expansion battery make sense.
