Create a monitor for the website text
- In Wachete, click Create new monitor.
- Choose the monitor type for a single page or part of a page, then enter the page URL. Wachete also offers options for password-protected pages and media files.
- In the preview or monitor settings, select the whole page or the particular area containing the text you care about. Choosing a specific area helps avoid alerts caused by unrelated page changes.
- Set the monitor name, check frequency, and notification type. Wachete’s setup fields also let you specify whether the monitored value is plain text or numeric; a value-changed alert is added automatically.
- Save the monitor, then check its history and notifications after later checks to review changes.
Wachete supports whole-page and selected-part monitoring, including dynamic and password-protected pages. Exact check intervals depend on the available plan details; the published information cited here does not establish dependable current intervals.
Choose what kind of text change triggers an alert
Any change in the selected area
Use the standard value-changed alert when any change to the selected text should notify you. If the area includes frequently changing material such as dates, counters, or advertisements, configure Wachete to ignore those sections where possible.
Text appearing or disappearing
For a specific phrase, use an alert rule for text appearing or disappearing rather than a general page-change alert. This is useful when you only care whether a notice, status, price label, or other particular text is present.

Choose where alerts go and how often you receive them
Wachete lists email, phone notifications, and chat integrations including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, and Telegram. Choose the destination that fits how quickly you need to see a change. Where supported, a daily or weekly summary can reduce separate notifications for pages that change often.
Monitoring runs on Wachete’s servers, so your own device does not need to remain powered on or connected for checks to run. The service’s notification email marks removed content in red and added content in green.

Troubleshoot missed or noisy notifications
- Too many alerts: Select only the relevant page area, ignore frequently changing sections, or use a daily or weekly summary.
- You need an alert for one phrase: Set an appearing/disappearing text rule instead of relying only on a general change alert.
- No alert arrives: Verify the saved monitor’s notification destination and check its history to see whether Wachete recorded a change. Also confirm the monitor is watching the correct page area.
- The page requires a login or loads content dynamically: Wachete lists support for password-protected and dynamic pages. Configure the appropriate monitor and inspect the preview and subsequent history to confirm the intended content is being monitored.
