If Visualping’s screenshot misses content that appears after the page loads, add or increase a wait and check the job preview. If the content appears only after a click, form entry, or scroll, add the needed actions in page order and wait after the step that changes the page. For content inside an iframe, use the iFrame action before targeting it. A failed selector, bot detection, or cross-origin frame restriction can also prevent a capture.
Start by identifying when the content appears
Compare Visualping’s job preview with the page in a normal browser. Confirm that the content eventually appears, then note what triggers it: time passing, a click or form submission, scrolling, or loading an embedded frame. This distinction helps you choose the right fix instead of adding an arbitrary delay.
Visualping recommends checking the preview when elements are missing. Its preview can also flag actions that failed, which helps distinguish a timing problem from an interaction or targeting problem (Visualping Help Center: How do I use actions?).
Fix content that appears after a delay
Visualping provides an overall wait setting in Advanced Settings as well as a Wait action. Increase the wait gradually, then inspect the preview after each adjustment. Automatic detection may miss elements that have not loaded yet; adding time gives the page an opportunity to render them. Visualping’s help center describes the Wait action as pausing before a screenshot so page elements can finish loading (What does the wait action do?; How to create a basic monitoring job).

If a click causes a refresh, redirect, or newly revealed content, put a Wait action after the click. Increase the delay only as much as needed for the preview to show the target reliably.
Match actions to the page’s behavior
Content revealed by a click or form entry
Add the interaction that reveals the content, then wait before the next action or screenshot. For example, use Click → Wait → next action. Actions run in sequence on each check, so put them in the order a person would use the page. If the interaction is easier to perform in a browser than to configure manually, Visualping’s Record Action can replay it on checks; recording requires Visualping’s Chrome extension (Using the Record Action).

Content loaded as you scroll
Add a Scroll action to bring lazy-loaded content into view, then allow time for it to load. If the default scroll position does not expose the target, try a different page fold and check the preview after each change (Using the scroll action to trigger elements to load).
Content inside an iframe
Use browser developer tools to see whether the missing element is nested inside an <iframe>. The outer page loads by default, but the embedded frame has its own page context. Add the iFrame action for the relevant frame before actions aimed at its contents. Cross-origin browser security restrictions may still prevent access to a frame (Using the iFrame action).

Check failed actions, selectors, and site access
- Action warning in the preview: Recheck the target and the action order. If the element moved or the selection is ambiguous, try entering an ID, CSS selector, class, or XPath manually.
- Selector no longer identifies the element: Inspect the current page structure and update the selector, then verify the result in the preview.
- Works in your browser but not in Visualping: Bot detection may block automated access. A script that works locally can still fail when the monitored site restricts automation (How to use the script action).
- Element is in a restricted frame: Confirm that the correct iFrame action is used; cross-origin restrictions can remain even when the frame is identified.
Without the page URL and its preview or error details, it is not possible to confirm which cause applies. Change one setting or action at a time so you can see whether the preview improves.
