No—not for a live feed that depends on the computer you turn off. StreamVoodoo’s documented workflow uses a browser and the participant’s camera and microphone. Its documentation does not describe a cloud handoff that keeps that feed running when the participant’s computer shuts down.
Why turning off the computer stops the feed
StreamVoodoo describes its WebApp as connecting live video feeds through a browser. To start a room, a participant signs in, chooses a room and display name, grants camera and microphone permissions, and shares an invitation link. Because the capture depends on the participant’s device, assume the feed and live session stop when that computer is shut down.
This conclusion follows from StreamVoodoo’s documented browser, camera/microphone, device, and internet requirements; its FAQ does not spell out the shutdown scenario directly. The official terms also note that compatible devices, software, and internet access are required, and that their performance can affect use. StreamVoodoo FAQ · StreamVoodoo terms
Separate the StreamVoodoo room from the broadcast
A StreamVoodoo room and a broadcast sent to YouTube or another destination are different parts of a production workflow. StreamVoodoo’s FAQ says a Magic Link provides an individual video feed with sound that can be used as a browser source in a switcher such as OBS or vMix. Those applications can then record or send the production to a streaming destination.

The reviewed documentation does not establish that the room, the participant feed, or the computer running OBS or vMix continues working after its computer is turned off. Do not assume the destination stream remains live in that situation.
What to do if you need the session to continue
Keep the device and any local production computer involved in the workflow powered on, connected to the internet, and running for as long as their feeds or broadcast are needed. If you want a room participant’s feed to continue without their computer, StreamVoodoo’s reviewed documentation does not describe a way to do that; confirm directly with StreamVoodoo whether its current offering has changed.

For its highest-quality video settings, StreamVoodoo recommends a wired Ethernet connection, stating, “For those qualities to perform as they should, an ethernet connection is required.” Ethernet can help with the connection quality, but it does not keep a feed running after the computer is off.
