CaptureKit lists plans from a $0/month trial with 100 credits to $89/month for 50,000 credits. Each successful Screenshot API call costs one credit, so estimate your monthly captures first; the listed API subscription does not establish the all-in cost of a scheduled workflow. The reviewed CaptureKit references describe API calls and integrations, but do not document a built-in recurring schedule setting or a separate CaptureKit scheduling fee.

CaptureKit plans and listed prices

CaptureKit’s billing documentation lists these monthly prices and credit allowances. Prices and plan terms can change; the billing documentation says checkout shows the live amount. The reviewed sources do not establish country-specific taxes or currency treatment.

Plan Listed price Credits Practical fit
Free trial $0/month 100/month Trial or small-volume evaluation, subject to current checkout terms
Starter $7/month 1,000/month Lower-volume individual or project use
Pro $29/month 10,000/month Higher-volume workloads; also the tier recommended for CaptureKit’s 5,000-screenshot calculator example
Ultimate $89/month 50,000/month Workloads needing a larger monthly allowance

These figures are from CaptureKit’s billing documentation. Its pricing page lists the same paid monthly tiers and says annual billing saves 10%. Check the selected cadence and current checkout amount before subscribing. Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. Workspace API keys share the workspace quota, and one-time packs can add quota without changing the subscription tier.

Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

URLs × captures per URL per billing period

Then add calls caused by retries or by other endpoints. For example, 100 URLs captured once each day for a 30-day month means 3,000 capture calls before retries or other API calls. That is a calculation using CaptureKit’s documented one-credit-per-call rate, not a published usage benchmark.

CaptureKit’s credits reference says successful synchronous requests and completed asynchronous jobs are billed, while failed requests are not charged; credits reset monthly. The endpoint and request mix matter, so verify the behavior for the workflow you build in the credits reference and Screenshot API documentation.

Daily workload examples

URLs Schedule Approximate monthly calls Initial plan comparison
10 Once daily, 30-day month 300 Within the 1,000-credit Starter allowance, before retries and other calls
33 Once daily, 30-day month 990 Near the 1,000-credit Starter allowance
100 Once daily, 30-day month 3,000 Above Starter; below Pro’s 10,000-credit allowance
100 Four times daily, 30-day month 12,000 Above Pro; compare with Ultimate’s 50,000-credit allowance

These examples assume one successful screenshot call per URL per scheduled run and a 30-day billing period. They exclude retries and other endpoints; they are arithmetic, not CaptureKit usage promises.

Which plan fits your screenshot schedule?

  1. Count the URLs. Include every page captured in each run.
  2. Set the frequency. Multiply captures per run by the number of runs in the billing period. For example, daily means 30 runs in a 30-day estimate.
  3. Allow for workflow overhead. Add expected repeat attempts and separate API calls. CaptureKit says failed requests are not charged, but a workflow that retries may make additional calls.
  4. Compare the estimate with the credit allowance. The 100-credit free trial can evaluate only a small workload; Starter includes 1,000 credits, Pro 10,000, and Ultimate 50,000 per month.
  5. Check the whole workflow bill. CaptureKit’s API plan price is not a confirmed all-in schedule price. Confirm whether your own scheduler or chosen integration has separate charges, and check checkout for the live subscription amount.

CaptureKit’s public calculator uses a 5,000-screenshot-per-month example and recommends Pro at $29/month with 10,000 credits; it displays a calculated $5.80 per 1,000 screenshots. That is the calculator’s example, not a guaranteed unit cost for every workload. See the CaptureKit screenshot pricing calculator.

Does CaptureKit include recurring scheduling?

CaptureKit describes its service as an HTTP API called from a customer backend, automation platform, or AI agent. Its pricing page names Zapier and Make integrations. The reviewed Screenshot API reference explains how to request a capture and set parameters, but does not document a recurring cron or schedule parameter, nor a separate CaptureKit scheduling charge.

For a recurring workflow, arrange the repeated API calls through your own backend scheduler or an integration, then check that platform’s plan and billing terms. Do not assume the CaptureKit subscription includes the scheduler or that an integration is free.

CaptureKit versus ScreenshotNeo for scheduled captures

If you are choosing a screenshot API, ScreenshotNeo is the first alternative to try: it removes consent banners, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture, bills only clean shots, and its paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots. The services have different billing models: CaptureKit’s documented successful capture costs one credit, while ScreenshotNeo says bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed. Compare the expected workload and the scheduler costs separately.

Or skip the browser setup

ScreenshotNeo offers a one-request screenshot API and an MCP server for AI agents such as Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients. Cookie banners, popups and chat widgets are removed before the shot; bot checks, blank pages and failed loads are never billed. One thousand screenshots a month are free with no card, and paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. The API supports PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF output; see the ScreenshotNeo documentation.
