For a dependable record, save the exchange’s original filing attachment when available, then make a separate PDF of the announcement webpage if the page itself matters. The attachment preserves the document supplied through the filing; the browser PDF records how the announcement page appeared when you captured it. Keep the page URL and capture date with both files.
Find the official filing and save its attachment
- Open the relevant company announcement or corporate filings area on the official BSE or NSE website, and locate the company or security and the filing you need. Exchange page layouts and labels can change, so confirm that you are on the live official exchange site.
- Open the individual announcement or filing record. Check its title and company or security identifier against the record you intend to retain.
- If the record provides a PDF attachment, download and save it as the original exchange- or issuer-provided document. Keep it separate from the webpage PDF you will create next; they preserve different things.
BSE announcement pages can include detailed records and PDF attachments. Corporate filing systems named in exchange materials include BSE Listing Centre and NSE NEAPS. The availability and presentation of a particular filing should be checked on the live exchange site.
Print the announcement webpage to PDF in Chrome
- Open the announcement page in Chrome desktop and confirm that it is the correct record.
- Open the print dialog with Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or ⌘+P on Mac. You can also use File > Print.
- In the destination choices, select Save as PDF, if available. Review the print settings and the preview.
- Check that the preview includes the details you need and does not omit content, add unwanted pages, or split the page awkwardly. Adjust available print settings if needed.
- Choose Save, select a local folder, and save the PDF.
These are Chrome’s general print steps; they do not guarantee that every exchange page will render identically. The preview is your opportunity to catch missing or poorly paginated material before saving. See Google’s Chrome printing instructions.

Use a descriptive filename, for example Company_Exchange_FilingTitle_YYYY-MM-DD.pdf. For each record, keep a brief note or folder record with:

- the exact page URL;
- the exchange and company or security identifier;
- the filing title or announcement description; and
- the date you captured it.
This is practical recordkeeping advice, not a universal format or stated regulatory requirement. A saved PDF is a snapshot; it does not automatically track later changes to the online record.
Check revised or cancelled status when it matters
If the filing’s version status is important to your work, check the exchange listing for a corresponding revised or cancelled record. Record the relevant version details and retain the associated files. Do not assume that one saved webpage captures updates made after your capture.

Other offline options
Firefox offers webpage saving options for a complete webpage (including pictures and supporting files), HTML only, or text. These are options for offline access, not PDF outputs; a complete saved webpage may rely on companion files or links. See Mozilla’s webpage-saving instructions.
Google also documents uploading a saved PDF to Google Drive. Cloud storage can be an optional second-copy location, but it is not required to create the local PDF.

Troubleshooting the archive
- The PDF is missing details or has poor page breaks: Review Chrome’s print preview before saving, adjust available print settings, and inspect the saved PDF. Keep the original attachment separately if it is offered.
- You cannot find an attachment: Check the individual announcement record for a PDF link. If none is available, retain the webpage PDF and provenance details; do not label the webpage printout as the original filing document.
- The page looks different later: Your PDF reflects the browser print rendering at capture time. Keep the capture date and source URL, and check the exchange for a revised or cancelled record if version status is relevant.
- You want to open the page offline: A PDF is a standalone document snapshot, while Firefox’s complete webpage option may save supporting files alongside the page. HTML-only and text saves are also available, but none of those Firefox choices is itself a PDF.
