Not confirmed. Sken.io documents scheduled monitoring of a selected area of a public webpage, but its reviewed official material does not establish that a scheduled capture can include the entire scrollable page. If you need an assured full-page image or PDF on a schedule, confirm that exact capability with Sken.io before relying on it.
What Sken.io documents
Sken.io describes a monitoring workflow that loads a page on a schedule, compares it with an earlier capture, and alerts when the selected part changes. Its setup asks you to draw a box around the content to monitor; material outside that selection is ignored. That supports scheduled, area-based monitoring, not a confirmed whole-document screenshot.
Visual and text monitoring
- Visual mode: Compares rendered appearance, useful for changes such as a badge, photo, layout, or availability label.
- Content mode: Compares text in the selected area and ignores changes limited to styling.
Neither comparison mode, by itself, establishes that the capture covers the entire page. A visual check of a selected region and a full-page screenshot are different capabilities.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsDynamic content, interruptions, and access
Sken.io says it can render pages that require JavaScript. It also describes removing elements such as cookie banners, popups, chat widgets, and rotating ads to reduce recurring false alerts. Its FAQ says it loads public pages as an anonymous visitor; multi-step login pages are not presented as supported.
Schedule, checks, history, and alerts
According to Sken.io’s homepage as accessed October 3, 2026, paid plans allow intervals from once a minute to once a month. The vendor defines one check as one visit to one page, so frequent checks use an allowance faster. The same homepage lists a 14-day trial with 140 checks and plans of €3 per month for 500 checks, €12 per month for 3,000 checks, and €45 per month for 15,000 checks. The homepage and feature page state that a task can retain up to 12 snapshots; this is a rolling set, not evidence of a long-term archive. The homepage lists email, Android push, Slack, Discord, Google Chat, webhooks, Zapier, and a Chrome extension as notification or workflow options. These are vendor-published details and may change; check Sken.io’s current pages before choosing a plan.

How to decide whether it fits a full-page need
- Capture scope: Ask whether the scheduled task captures the viewport, a chosen region, or the entire scrollable document. The reviewed Sken.io pages describe choosing a region but do not explicitly confirm whole-page capture.
- Purpose: Decide whether you need visual changes, text changes, or an actual image/PDF archive. Monitoring for changes is not automatically the same as exporting a full-page screenshot.
- Frequency and allowance: Match the interval to how quickly a change matters, and account for one visit per page per check.
- Target access: Confirm that the page works for an anonymous visitor, especially if it depends on login, session state, or interactions.
- History and outputs: Verify retention, export options, and alert destinations against your needs rather than assuming monitoring history is a permanent archive.
For confirmation of whole-page scheduled captures, ask Sken.io support or consult its current documentation with a concrete example URL and the expected output. Do not select it for a full-page archive until that behavior is explicitly confirmed.
ScreenshotNeo as an alternative for full-page captures
If your immediate need is to capture a full page rather than monitor a selected area on a schedule, ScreenshotNeo is a screenshot API and MCP server for developers. It supports full-page capture with lazy images loaded and can return a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. This is a capture service; the supplied product details do not establish scheduled monitoring or change alerts.

Use a GET request with a URL. For example, this cURL request captures Stripe as a full-page WebP using the API’s documented parameter pattern; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for options and authentication details:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
ScreenshotNeo also offers an MCP server for AI agents, with tools including take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf. Its stated differentiators include removing cookie/consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture, with each step configurable; only clean shots are billed, while bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing. Responses identify the page verdict and billing status in headers.
Or skip the browser setup
Use the one-call API example above: send a URL and save the returned image. Cookie banners, popups, and chat widgets are removed before the shot; bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed. An MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card, and paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
