In Chrome on Linux, open the Telugu webpage, open DevTools, press Ctrl+Shift+P, type screenshot, then choose Capture full size screenshot. Chrome downloads an image of the whole page, including content beyond the visible window. Open the saved image afterward to check that the Telugu text and the page sections you need appear correctly.
Capture the whole page in Chrome
- Open the Telugu webpage in Chrome and wait for the content you need to load. If sections appear only as you scroll, scroll through the page first and check that those sections have appeared.
- Open Chrome DevTools by pressing F12, or open Chrome’s menu and select the developer tools option.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+P to open the DevTools Command Menu. Chrome documents this shortcut for Windows and Linux.
- Type screenshot in the Command Menu.
- Select Capture full size screenshot (the label may appear as “Capture a full size screenshot”). Chrome documents this option as capturing the whole page, including content not currently visible in the viewport. The plain Capture screenshot command captures only the visible viewport.
- Find the downloaded image and inspect its length, Telugu characters, images, and other important page content.
Google’s DevTools documentation describes the command this way: “To capture a screenshot of the whole page including the content that isn’t currently visible in the viewport, select Capture a full size screenshot from the same menu.” Google Chrome DevTools: Device mode, screenshot instructions.
Check Telugu text and page completeness
The screenshot command captures page content; it does not guarantee that every Linux installation can render every Telugu character correctly. If letters appear as empty boxes or look wrong, investigate how the page and fonts render in Chrome before recapturing. The available documentation does not establish a universal Telugu font requirement or a Telugu-specific failure rate.
Likewise, scrolling through a page can help trigger content that loads as you move down, but it does not guarantee that every lazy-loaded section will be captured. Pages that replace off-screen content as you scroll may need a different capture workflow, and the saved image should be checked rather than assumed complete.

Other capture methods and when they fit
- Chrome DevTools: A direct choice for a one-off manual full-page capture without installing an extension.
- Browser extension: An optional one-click workflow. The GoFullPage Chrome Web Store listing advertises full-page capture; its description and version history can change. It is not required for the DevTools method.
- Automation: Useful when captures need to be repeated or scripted. Chrome’s DevTools Protocol includes
Page.captureScreenshot; itscaptureBeyondViewportparameter controls capture beyond the viewport and defaults to false, so an automated capture must configure full-page behavior appropriately. See the Chrome DevTools Protocol Page domain.
Chrome’s historical Headless Chrome documentation shows the --screenshot flag writing screenshot.png to the current working directory, but notes that full-page capture takes additional handling beyond the basic flag. For a one-off capture, the DevTools menu is the clearer route.
Or skip the browser setup
ScreenshotNeo can capture a webpage through one API request, returning an image or PDF. Its clean-shot options accept cookie or consent banners and remove 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and the response identifies the page verdict and billing status. It also provides an MCP server for AI agents, with screenshot and PDF tools.
For Telugu pages, inspect the returned image just as you would a manual capture: the API does not establish a universal guarantee about Telugu font rendering. See the ScreenshotNeo documentation for the API options.

Troubleshooting
- The image shows only the visible window: Repeat the Command Menu steps and choose Capture full size screenshot, not Capture screenshot.
- Some content is missing: Wait for the page to finish loading, scroll through content that loads on demand, then capture again. Check whether the page replaces off-screen content as you scroll; a full-page command cannot guarantee content that the page did not render for capture.
- Telugu characters look like boxes or are malformed: The issue is rendering, not the screenshot dimensions. Check that Telugu text appears correctly in the page before capturing; no universal Linux font fix is established here.
- The screenshot command is hard to find: Ensure DevTools is open before pressing Ctrl+Shift+P, then search for screenshot and look specifically for the full-size option.
