Aitum describes Multistream as a local OBS plugin with separate settings for each destination; your computer and internet connection must handle the outputs. Check the current platform requirements before broadcasting.
What Aitum Multistream does
Aitum Multistream is an OBS Studio plugin for sending a broadcast to multiple streaming destinations from one OBS setup. Aitum says each destination can have its own settings, including bitrate, so you can configure outputs separately rather than assume every platform should receive identical settings. Install the current release

On the release page, review the latest release, available files, and compatibility information for your operating system and OBS version before downloading. The release listing identified version 1.0.8 as the latest when checked for this article; releases and compatibility can change, so use the live page rather than treating that version as current indefinitely.

Install using the instructions supplied with the current release asset for your system. If the release does not provide a suitable installer or clear instructions, consult Aitum’s current documentation or support instead of substituting an old tutorial’s steps.

Reopen OBS and look for the Multistream interface provided by the installed plugin. Exact current menu names and dialog steps are not established by the official material cited here, so do not rely on a generic click path that may not match your OBS build.
Configure destinations and output settings

In Aitum Multistream, create a destination for each service you intend to broadcast to. Use each service’s current official setup guidance to create or locate the stream key and ingest configuration it requires.

Enter the correct destination credentials and connection details for each target. Treat stream keys as passwords: do not publish them, show them on screen, or reuse a key in an unrelated service.

Set output options separately for each destination where the plugin allows it. Aitum’s description specifically says destinations can have different settings, including bitrate. Choose resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and other encoding values according to that destination’s current requirements and the quality you want to deliver.

Save the configuration and confirm that each destination is enabled and points to the intended account or channel before starting the broadcast.
Choose settings for each receiving platform
There is no single bitrate or resolution that is established as correct for every platform, stream format, or network. Check the current encoding and ingest recommendations published by every service you are sending to. If requirements differ, configure the corresponding destination independently where possible; avoid assuming that one service’s settings will suit the others.

Check each platform’s permitted resolutions, frame rates, codecs, bitrate guidance, and stream-key requirements.

Use an output profile your computer can encode while running OBS and any other applications needed for the broadcast.

Account for the combined upload traffic to all destinations. Aitum operates from your machine, and the available official sources do not establish a universal bandwidth formula, safe destination count, or minimum hardware specification.

If your connection or encoder struggles, reduce the settings or number of simultaneous destinations and check whether the problem clears before attempting a full broadcast.

Check the setup before going live

Review every destination’s account, stream key, output settings, and enabled state.

Run a private, test, or otherwise low-risk broadcast using each platform’s available testing options. Confirm that every intended destination receives video and audio with the expected format.

Watch OBS for encoding or connection warnings and check each destination’s live preview or status. A successful connection to one destination does not establish that the others are receiving the stream.

Make any needed setting changes, then repeat the check before an important broadcast.

Horizontal and vertical broadcasts are a separate use case
Ordinary multistreaming means sending a broadcast to multiple destinations. Sending horizontal and vertical formats at once is a separate workflow: Twitch’s dual-format instructions discuss OBS with Aitum Vertical for that purpose. Aitum Vertical is not established as a requirement for basic multistreaming. See Twitch’s dual-format streaming instructions for its current guidance.

The plugin does not appear in OBS: Check that you installed a release asset for your operating system and that it is compatible with your OBS version. Revisit the current release notes and installation guidance; do not assume an older installer works with a newer OBS build.

One destination does not connect: Verify that its stream key and server details are correct, that the key belongs to the intended channel, and that the destination is enabled. Consult that service’s current live-stream setup instructions.

One service receives a stream but another does not: Check the affected destination’s configuration and requirements separately. Multistreaming does not make one destination’s successful connection proof that all targets are set up correctly.

Video buffers, drops, or looks worse than expected: Check the destination-specific settings and your local connection and encoding load. Reduce the output demands or number of destinations, then test again. The available sources do not support a fixed bitrate or hardware prescription for every setup.

Horizontal output works but vertical output does not: Treat the format issue separately from destination count. Review Twitch’s dual-format guidance and the current Aitum Vertical instructions if you are trying to send both formats.
