Choose the right route for your VODs
Decide whether you want one scheduled broadcast containing a finite playlist or a channel that continuously loops uploaded videos. A cloud prerecorded-streaming service avoids keeping a local computer and encoder running. YouTube’s own tools can accept a live feed, but the feed must come from a playout source that handles the video files.

Set up a scheduled gaming VOD playlist
1. Check that the channel can livestream
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Its eligibility guidance sets a minimum age of 16 for live streaming. 2. Choose a finite playlist or a continuous loop
For a one-off or scheduled broadcast, a sequential playlist is enough. OneStream Live documents selecting several videos for a single broadcast. For an always-on channel, choose a service with a distinct 24/7 mode and check the maximum scheduled duration: OneStream Live states that its YouTube 24/7 feature requires Enterprise and allows a run of up to 30 days. A 30-day scheduled run is not the same as an indefinite single schedule; confirm how you will restart or reschedule it.
3. Add and order the videos in the service
In OneStream Live, its help instructions describe selecting videos from a device, OneStream storage, or cloud storage, placing them in playlist order, choosing YouTube as the destination, entering broadcast details, and scheduling the stream. Review the finished sequence from beginning to end: ordering errors, a short interstitial, or the wrong file can be more disruptive in a live broadcast than in a locally edited video.

4. Verify plan, schedule, and broadcast options
OneStream Live’s playlist help page says playlist streaming is available on Professional and Enterprise. Its separate YouTube 24/7 feature requires Enterprise. The advanced scheduling page says YouTube DVR and channel-supported monetization are options and that advanced scheduling is available on Standard or higher. These documented tiers overlap, so verify the exact combination in your account before paying; feature availability can depend on plan and account eligibility. The provider’s documentation does not establish current prices.

5. Review YouTube’s replay behavior
YouTube’s webcam and encoder guides say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Those guides do not confirm the archive outcome for streams longer than 12 hours, so do not assume a long-running broadcast will be preserved as one replay. If the VOD matters, plan a shorter broadcast or separately retain the source files and verify the resulting archive in YouTube Studio after the stream.
Keep the VODs eligible and suitable for livestreaming
A playlist tool handles playout; it does not grant rights to the video or make content eligible for monetization. Before scheduling, confirm that you control or have permission to use the game footage, music, overlays, and any other material in each VOD. Review YouTube’s current copyright and monetization rules for your channel, and do not treat a video that was previously uploaded as automatically cleared for a continuous live rebroadcast. YouTube’s livestream eligibility rules still apply, and channel restrictions can prevent a scheduled stream from starting.
