Chainsaw Man’s manga conclusion was reported in March 2026, but that does not settle whether Tatsuki Fujimoto might return to the series. The available reporting does not confirm a Part 3 announcement or a definitive cancellation—and it does not authenticate claims that Fujimoto explained the ending as rushed.
Did the Chainsaw Man manga end?

That answers whether the existing manga reached a conclusion. It does not, by itself, establish what Fujimoto may do with the story in the future.
Has Chainsaw Man Part 3 been confirmed or ruled out?
Neither outcome is established by the available reporting. There is no confirmed Part 3 announcement in these reports, but the lack of an announcement is not proof that a continuation is impossible or has been cancelled.

A September 29, 2026, ComicBook.com report discusses Fujimoto working on a new manga concept. It does not identify that concept as Chainsaw Man Part 3 or say that a sequel has been definitively rejected. Read ComicBook.com’s report.
Did Fujimoto explain the ending as rushed?
That claim has not been authenticated by the reporting available here. An October 2, 2026, OpenGames article attributes comments about the Part 2 ending and serialization constraints to Fujimoto in an interview with director Kohei Kadowaki. The interview was not corroborated by the other retrieved reporting or an accessible primary interview, so its attributed remarks should not be treated as verified statements from Fujimoto.

Likewise, calling the ending “rushed” is a reader or outlet characterization, not an established account of Fujimoto’s own explanation. The available sources do not provide a representative survey of reader opinion or verified comments from Fujimoto confirming that description.
