The best faja for Lipo 360 is the one your surgeon approves for your treated areas and recovery stage, fits snugly without pain or restricted breathing, and is practical to put on, clean, and adjust as swelling changes. No single garment or wear schedule is established as best for everyone.
What to look for in a Lipo 360 faja
Lipo 360 generally refers to liposuction around the torso. A post-surgery compression faja is a common garment option, but the right coverage depends on the areas treated and your surgeon’s directions. Compare garments on practical fit and construction rather than assuming that more compression produces better contouring.
- Coverage: Check that the garment covers the areas your surgeon treated, which may include the abdomen, back, torso, or upper thighs.
- Closure and access: Consider how easily you can put it on and take it off, where closures sit in relation to incisions or dressings, and whether bathroom access is manageable.
- Adjustability: Adjustable closures can accommodate changes in swelling. Do not size down or add compression on your own; ask your care team what to do if the garment becomes loose.
- Comfort: Seams and edges should not aggravate incisions, and the garment should not cause pain, discomfort, or difficulty breathing.
- Care: Check washing and drying instructions. A clean spare may help with garment rotation if your care team approves.
Before choosing any faja, ask your surgeon whether it suits your procedure, stage of recovery, incision locations, and any drains or dressings.

Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent evidence that this garment produces better results or is appropriate for a particular patient. The catalog’s second-stage recommendation is not a substitute for your surgeon’s instructions. Ask whether its coverage and closures work with your treatment areas and recovery needs before buying.
How long should you wear a faja after Lipo 360?
There is no universal duration established by the guidance cited here. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) says patients should follow their surgeon’s individualized schedule. Its general compression guidance describes wearing a garment day and night for one to three weeks, with later reduction after follow-up; its liposuction recovery guidance says a compression garment may be needed but directs patients to their surgeon’s procedure-specific instructions. The Aesthetic Society’s liposuction aftercare page describes garment use for four to six weeks. These are different general guidance ranges, not a prescription for every Lipo 360 patient.

Your surgeon can tell you when to wear the faja, when it may be removed, and whether or when to change garments or stages. Do not use other patients’ schedules as a clinical protocol.
Stage 1 vs. stage 2 faja
Stage labels are used by garment manufacturers; they are not, on their own, a universal medical timetable. The Faja Recovery catalog calls its 360 Lipo Dual Zipper Sleeveless garment second-stage use. The label alone does not establish when you should switch or whether that garment suits your recovery. Confirm the timing and garment type with your surgeon, especially if you have incisions, dressings, or drains.

How should a post-op faja fit?
ASPS advises a snug fit that does not cause discomfort or restrict breathing. If the garment causes pain or discomfort, contact your surgeon rather than trying to tolerate it or tightening it further. If swelling decreases and the faja becomes loose, ask whether refitting is appropriate; do not independently move to a smaller size.
Keep the garment clean and check your skin
ASPS’s July 20, 2026 summer-care guidance recommends keeping compression garments clean and dry and visually checking covered skin daily. It describes washing with mild soap and cool or lukewarm water, then air drying. Follow your own surgeon’s care instructions if they differ.

Daily visual checks matter because sensation may be reduced after surgery. Compression garments are widely used in plastic surgery, and ASPS says they may help minimize swelling and support the body while it heals. That customary use does not establish that a particular faja, pressure level, or duration improves Lipo 360 contouring or prevents complications.
