1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe FolderFort 2TB “lifetime” offer promoted in April 2025 is expired. It advertised a $109.97 one-time price with code SECURE2TB, but the stated deadline was April 27, 2025. That price and code are not verified as available today. FolderFort’s current pages describe a different service: Folder Fort 2.0 subscription plans, with conditional terms for some existing lifetime-account holders.
What the 2025 FolderFort offer included—and when it ended
A PCMag partner article syndicated by Yahoo Tech on April 20, 2025 advertised a FolderFort plan with 2TB of storage for $109.97, down from a stated regular price of $499. It promoted code SECURE2TB and gave a deadline of April 27, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PT. The offer is historical, not a current deal. Yahoo Tech’s syndicated article contains the original promotion details.
The promotion described browser access, file organization, shareable links, workspace invitations, and 1GB free portions for added users. Those are claims about the offer as it was presented in 2025; they do not establish that every feature remains available now or that FolderFort provides Google Drive’s full range of features.
What “lifetime” means for FolderFort
FolderFort’s terms define “lifetime” as the lifetime of the product, not the customer. They also state that features may change or be removed and that new features may require separate payment. A one-time payment therefore does not guarantee that the service, its feature set, or a particular plan will exist unchanged forever. Read the current terms and the terms attached to the specific offer or account before relying on a lifetime entitlement.

FolderFort’s official site says Folder Fort Classic closes November 16, 2026. Its current pricing and migration pages describe Folder Fort 2.0 subscriptions and conditional conversion terms for some existing lifetime accounts. Eligibility and deadlines apply; a past lifetime purchase does not, by itself, prove that a customer qualifies for migration benefits. Check the details attached to your own account on the pricing page and migration page.
How FolderFort’s current plans differ from the promotion
The current pricing-page snapshot lists Personal storage options of 100GB, 200GB, or 1TB, and a Business plan with 1TB included. These are not the 2TB lifetime promotion. Plan details and availability can change, so confirm the current allowance, billing frequency, and migration conditions directly with FolderFort before purchasing.

- Up to 3-meter drop protection and IP65 water and dust resistance mean this tough drive can take a beating(3) (Previously rated for 2-meter drop protection and IP55 rating. Now qualified for the higher, stated specs.)

- Help keep private content private with the included password protection featuring 256‐bit AES hardware encryption.(3)
- Easily manage files and automatically free up space with the SanDisk Memory Zone app.(5). Non-Operating Temperature -20°C to 85°C
That difference matters if you need 2TB today: the old promotion does not establish that a new customer can buy 2TB on those terms now. Nor does this information establish that FolderFort’s current plans match Google Drive’s capacity, collaboration, compatibility, or sharing features.
How to decide whether a cloud plan can replace your current one
Compare the services around the way you actually use your files, not just the headline capacity or payment style. Before moving a primary library, check:

- High capacity in a small enclosure – The small, lightweight design offers up to 6TB* capacity, making WD Elements portable hard drives the ideal companion for consumers on the go.
- Plug-and-play expandability
- Vast capacities up to 6TB[1] to store your photos, videos, music, important documents and more
- SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps)
- Total cost: Compare the current price of each service over the period you expect to use it. Include recurring charges, possible upgrades, and any separate fees; don’t treat an expired promotion as a current price.
- Capacity and transfer limits: Confirm storage caps and any upload, download, or bandwidth limits in the applicable plan terms.
- Sharing and collaboration: Verify that link sharing, permissions, invitations, and the apps or workflows your collaborators need are supported now.
- Migration and retrieval: Check how to move files in, export or download them later, and recover access if an account or service changes. Avoid making a new service the only copy of important data until you understand the exit process.
- Continuity: Read how the provider defines “lifetime,” what happens if a product closes or changes, and whether any migration offer has eligibility rules or a cutoff date.
- Privacy and security: Review the provider’s current descriptions of encryption, stored metadata, service providers, and account recovery; distinguish company claims from independent verification.
What FolderFort says about security and data handling
FolderFort says it encrypts files with authenticated AES-256-GCM before they reach object storage, assigns each file a unique 256-bit key, and uses TLS 1.3 for data in transit. These are the company’s descriptions on its encryption page, not independent audit findings.
FolderFort’s privacy policy says it stores uploaded files and related metadata, including names, sizes, and folder structure, to provide the service. It identifies service providers for infrastructure—including Backblaze—as well as payment processing, email, support, and analytics, and says it shares information as needed for those services. The policy also says FolderFort does not sell personal information. Review the current privacy policy and applicable terms for the latest statements. The policy cautions: “No online service can guarantee absolute security, but protecting stored data is the core of what we do.”
