3. Cafe Music BGM channel

Its café framing makes it a natural fit for email, reading, writing, and other tasks where you want a little atmosphere without a busy soundtrack. The channel description also points to related BGM projects, including BGM channel, Green Music BGM channel, J-POP Music BGM channel, Hawaiian BGM channel, Ambient BGM channel, and Music Box BGM channel.
4. Ambient Worlds
Ambient Worlds is suited to listeners who find a plain music loop too sterile. Use its ambient environments for reading, creative work, or a focused session where a sense of place helps you settle in. Keep the volume restrained: an immersive soundscape can become a distraction if it is competing with the task.
5. Yellow Brick Cinema – Relaxing Music
Yellow Brick Cinema – Relaxing Music is a broad relaxation-music channel for quiet work, unwinding, and low-pressure study. It is a practical pick when you want instrumental background audio rather than a beat-heavy lo-fi stream.
6. Relaxing White Noise
Relaxing White Noise is the better choice when your main problem is sound from the room around you. Constant noise can mask nearby conversations, keyboard sounds, traffic, or an inconsistent office environment without adding a melody for your brain to follow. Try it before music if lyrics and chord changes pull your attention away.

- Two Devices, Zero Hassle: Stay connected to your laptop and phone at the same time. Audio switches automatically to whichever device needs you — so a call never interrupts your flow, and getting back to your playlist is just as easy. Designed for commuters and remote workers who move smoothly between work and personal listening throughout the day.
- Your Sound, Your Rules: The soundcore app puts everything at your fingertips — dials your ideal EQ with presets or build your own, flip between ANC, Normal, and Transparency modes on the fly, or wind down with built-in white noise. One app, total control.
8. Meditative Mind
Meditative Mind is a good option for meditation, decompression, and quiet tasks. Its calming presentation can work before a study block, during a break, or while doing repetitive work. It may be less suitable than a beat-based channel when you need energy for a long afternoon session.
9. StudyMD
StudyMD is aimed specifically at study-oriented listening. Choose it when you want the audio and channel context to reinforce a dedicated revision or homework session. It is also a sensible channel to test alongside a timer or a fixed study routine.
10. Chill Lofi Capybara
Chill Lofi Capybara offers lo-fi material associated with study, work, focus, relaxation, and staying in flow. It belongs on the shortlist for people who like the steady rhythm of lo-fi but want an alternative to the most familiar channels.
11. Homework Radio
Homework Radio is built around the homework and study use case. Start a track when you want a simple background companion for revision, problem sets, or reading. If you are sensitive to transitions, preview the first few minutes before using a long upload during an exam-preparation block.
12. Jazz Cafe Lofi
Jazz Cafe Lofi combines café-jazz framing with study-oriented titles. Its YouTube Music listing includes “Ambient Exam Study Flow,” “Deep Focus Study Room,” “Focus Mode Evening,” and “Clear Thoughts Homework Time.” It is a strong fit for evening work when straight lo-fi feels too repetitive but vocals would be distracting.

13. Light Jazz Music
Light Jazz Music lists café-jazz uploads described for relaxation, work, focus, study, and peaceful moods. Use it for office work, reading, or a calm morning routine. Jazz can contain more noticeable melodic variation than ambient music, so lower the volume if you catch yourself listening to the arrangement instead of working.
14. Lofi Sleep
Lofi Sleep includes tracks and collections such as “Keep Focus Lofi,” “Calming Study Lofi,” and “Calming Chill Lofi.” Despite the sleep-oriented name, the focus and study titles make it useful for quiet late-night work or a low-energy reading session.
15. Lofi Nova Music
Lofi Nova Music is useful when you want several lo-fi moods without changing channels. Its listed albums include Café Serenity: Lo-Fi Beats for Relaxed Study, Circadian Focus: A Complete Day in Lo-Fi, Celestial Ecosystems: Ambient Lofi Journey for Deep Concentration, European Study Sessions, and Electronic Horizons: Synthwave Lofi for Digital Focus. Choose the least energetic collection that matches the task.
16. Luviin Lo-fi
Luviin Lo-fi is the pick for piano-led background music. Its listed material includes “Luviin Café Piano — Calm Lofi for Work & Study” and a 34-hour “Study & Focus Piano LoFi” playlist. Piano lo-fi works particularly well for writing, reading, and design work when you want melody without vocals.
How to choose the right channel
- Start with the distraction you need to solve. Use white noise for nearby speech and room noise, ambient audio for atmosphere, or lo-fi and jazz when a steady musical pulse helps you work.
- Match the sound to the task. Use low-variation audio for coding, calculations, proofreading, and memorization. More melodic café jazz or themed ambience may work better for writing, drawing, or routine administration.
- Test at a low volume. Background music should remain behind your task. If you notice individual instruments, anticipate the next transition, or start following the beat, reduce the volume or switch to simpler audio.
- Use one channel for a complete work block. Constant searching creates its own distraction. Save two or three reliable playlists and rotate them only between tasks.
- Check the opening minutes. A video can have a calm title but an intro, spoken message, loud transition, or promotional segment that is unsuitable for a quiet session.

Keep audio playing with the screen off
Background play in the YouTube and YouTube Music mobile apps requires a signed-in YouTube Premium account and is not available in the YouTube Shorts player. For eligible Premium users, the default is Always on.
Download for offline listening

Set audio quality
On mobile, open the YouTube app and go to Profile picture → Settings → Quality → Audio quality. Choose Auto or High. On a TV, streaming device, or console, open a video, select Settings → Audio → High-quality audio.
High quality is not automatically 256 kbps. YouTube says the result depends on the connection and the original upload; a source uploaded at 128 kbps cannot be delivered as 256 kbps. Also, Premium removes YouTube platform ads, including pre-roll, mid-roll, banner, and search ads, but creator-embedded promotions, branding, merchandise shelves, memberships, and event-ticket promotions can remain.
Some Premium features are irrelevant to this list: Auto speed and Jump ahead are unavailable for music content, so they should not influence your choice of a focus-music channel.
