Its Account Switcher lets eligible users switch between web accounts, but it does not keep two gameplay sessions running. Account switching versus playing at once

The five-account limit is for the web Account Switcher, not five simultaneous game clients. Roblox’s support information describes switching accounts; it does not promise that an active game session stays logged in while you switch.
How to switch accounts on the Roblox website
Roblox says Account Switcher is available to users aged 13 or older and accounts without parent privileges. Saved accounts are stored on that device and are not visible to other users or synced to other devices.
- Open Roblox Home and select the gear menu.
- Choose Switch Account.
- Add an account or select one already saved in the switcher.
This changes the web account. It is not a way to launch a second independent game client.

What about the Microsoft Store app?
Older guides may describe using the Microsoft Store app alongside the downloaded Roblox client to open another session. Do not treat those instructions as a verified current solution: Roblox’s current app is called Roblox – Windows, and Roblox says the old app will eventually stop working. Xbox Wire reported on September 12, 2025, that the updated app replaced the legacy app.
A Roblox staff reply on the Developer Forum said, “we don’t plan to support multiple clients running on the same computer.” The reply also characterized earlier coexistence between the legacy Store app and downloaded client as unintended.

Methods that are not verified as supported
The available research does not verify virtual machines, emulators, remote desktops, third-party account managers, or client modifications as supported ways to run two Roblox sessions. They may fail, change after updates, or expose account information. Avoid instructions that involve deleting Roblox process handles or mutexes, modifying the client, or sharing security cookies with utilities.
Account and experience rules
Roblox says it may take action on different accounts it determines belong to the same user when Community Standards are violated. Individual experiences may also set their own rules for alternate accounts, farming, trading, or rewards. Check those rules before using multiple accounts.

Can Roblox Account Switcher run two accounts at once?
No. It lets eligible users switch between up to five saved web accounts on one device. It is not documented as a way to run two simultaneous game clients.

Can I use the Microsoft Store app as a second client?
Older tutorials describe this, but it should not be treated as a verified current solution. Roblox is replacing the legacy Store app with Roblox – Windows.
Can I switch accounts if I am under 13 or have parent privileges?
