The OnePlus Turbo 6 is officially listed with a 9,000mAh typical-capacity battery, an 80W charger, and a 165Hz display—but its final published specifications differ from the October 2025 leak. OnePlus’s current product page documents the Turbo 6 for China; the leaked 8,000mAh battery, 100W charging, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 claims were provisional, not the final specifications.

How the official specifications compare with the leak
On October 27, 2025, GSMArena reported alleged Turbo specifications including an 8,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, and a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The same report described a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Those details were rumors at the time, not an official specification sheet.

The leak’s battery, charging, and processor claims changed in the published Turbo 6 information. The refresh-rate figure appeared in both the leak and the official page, but the leak’s other display details and its camera configuration should not be treated as confirmed by that match. See GSMArena’s October 2025 leak report for the historical claims.
What OnePlus’s battery comparison does—and does not—mean
OnePlus compares the Turbo 6’s 9,000mAh battery and 27W reverse charging with a stated Turbo-tier average of 7,500mAh and 22.5W reverse charging. The company defines the comparison group as China mainland products in the same price segment that were officially on sale as of the Turbo 6 launch on January 8, 2026. It is not an all-market average or a general comparison with every current smartphone.
OnePlus also says its endurance figures come from company laboratories or suppliers and depend on environment, settings, and usage. The 9,000mAh figure is a stated capacity; it does not by itself establish how long a particular person’s phone will last between charges.
Do not confuse the Turbo 6 with the Turbo 6V
The Turbo 6V is a separate sibling model with its own official page. OnePlus lists its battery as 9,000mAh typical and 8,760mAh rated, with up to 80W charger output. Those battery ratings and the 6V’s test results should not be silently transferred to the Turbo 6.

OnePlus’s product-page comparison is explicitly scoped to China mainland products and uses January 8, 2026, as its launch-date reference. A December 29, 2025, Android Authority report said official teasers had indicated a 9,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a high-refresh-rate display, and a January 8 China launch, while noting uncertainty over which sibling model would receive which feature at that point. The later official Turbo 6 page is the stronger source for the Turbo 6’s published specifications: Android Authority’s report on the pre-launch teasers.
The cited official pages establish China-market product information, not global availability, local network compatibility, or warranty coverage. The available sources also do not provide independent battery benchmarks for the Turbo 6.
