AAWireless TWO+ can make an existing wired Android Auto or wired Apple CarPlay connection wireless, and it supports both phone platforms. It will not add either system to a car that lacks it, and the May 2025 launch discount is no longer current. AAWireless’s product page showed the adapter as sold out when checked on October 8, 2026.
Will AAWireless TWO+ work with your car?
It should be a fit only if your car or aftermarket head unit already starts Android Auto or CarPlay when you connect a phone by USB. AAWireless describes the requirement as: “Works with cars and aftermarket head units that have wired-only Android Auto and / or CarPlay.”
- Connect your Android phone or iPhone to the car’s USB port using a cable.
- Confirm that the relevant wired system—Android Auto or CarPlay—starts on the car’s display.
- If it does, the TWO+ may replace that wired phone connection with a wireless one. If it does not, the adapter cannot supply the missing Android Auto or CarPlay system.
The manufacturer says the dongle is not compatible with cars that already have built-in wireless Android Auto or wireless CarPlay.
Phone requirements
- Wireless Android Auto requires Android 11 or newer.
- Wireless CarPlay requires iPhone X or newer.
What “both” means
TWO+ supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but that does not mean the two systems run simultaneously. It can connect multiple phones, and its multifunction button is used for pairing and switching phones. You use the system supported by the connected phone and the vehicle.

The manufacturer’s comparison identifies CarPlay support as the primary difference between TWO+ and the regular AAWireless TWO: the latter is Android Auto-only.
Is the launch discount still available?
No. The much-publicized discount was a limited Indiegogo pre-order promotion in May 2025, not a standing retail price. Droid Life reported that the $29 tier had sold out, followed by offers of $34 for the next 1,000 backers and $39 for the following 1,500, against an expected $59 price. Pre-orders were scheduled to ship in July 2025.

Android Authority reported a retail launch price starting at $64.99 in October 2025, when availability began in the US and EU; UK availability was expected later. The outlet also reported that 3,000 early-access units sold out in five days. That sell-through figure is the publication’s report, not an independently verified manufacturer statistic.
Later offers were temporary too: Android Authority marked a $55.24 Amazon offer, compared with a stated usual $65, expired on April 2, 2026. A 9to5Google-reported $52 website promotion ended June 14, 2026. Neither establishes today’s price. The official product page showed TWO+ as sold out on October 8, 2026, so check the current listing and stock before making a purchase decision.

What comes with TWO+, and how does it connect?
The compact adapter measures 5.5 × 3.5 × 1.5 cm and weighs 18 g. The box includes the TWO+ adapter, a USB-C-to-USB-A cable, and a user manual. The adapter has a USB-C port and uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as part of its connection process.
Bluetooth passes Wi-Fi credentials to the phone before the connection uses Wi-Fi. The manufacturer’s FAQ also notes that Android Auto processes require a Bluetooth connection, so describing the setup as Wi-Fi-only would be incomplete.

Warranty and returns
AAWireless lists a two-year warranty and a 30-day return period. Its FAQ specifies that Amazon and official-webshop purchases have the two-year warranty, and says the customer pays return shipping. Check the terms attached to the seller and region where you buy.
