Photos
Pictures in the iPad photo library are in the Photos app, not necessarily in Files. A picture saved as an individual file may instead be in Files or a cloud-service location.
Use Recents when you remember opening the file
Tap Recents in Files to see files you opened recently. This is useful when you remember working on a document but not which folder contains it. Shared is a separate view for files shared with you or by you. Apple’s Files basics guide describes the app’s browsing and organization features.
If a file is missing
-
Search Files using the name or a distinctive keyword, then check likely locations and tags.
