Low Power Mode turns off automatically after the device is charged above 80 percent, so it is not necessarily a permanent setting on iPhone or iPad. If you want it enabled again after charging, you may need to turn it back on.

Rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan. If an iPhone or iPad’s runtime has become unexpectedly poor, check its battery condition rather than relying on Low Power Mode as a fix. Apple says iPhone 15 and later and certain iPad models have a Battery Health screen; iPhone 14 and earlier use Battery Health & Charging. If Battery Health shows “Service,” Apple says to consider replacement to restore full performance and capacity. The precise screen available depends on the device.
