To turn off Scroll Lock on a Logitech keyboard, press the key marked Scr Lk or the Scroll Lock symbol. If Scroll Lock is printed as a secondary function, hold Fn and press that key. If your keyboard has no Scroll Lock key, use the on-screen keyboard and click Scroll Lock.
Choose the method that matches your Logitech keyboard
Dedicated Scr Lk key
Press Scr Lk or the key bearing the Scroll Lock symbol once. Scroll Lock is a toggle, so pressing the key changes its current state.
Scroll Lock on an Fn layer
Look for a secondary Scroll Lock marking on the keys. Hold Fn and press the key carrying that marking. Logitech describes this as the way to use Scroll Lock when it shares a key with another function.
No Scroll Lock key
Open your operating system’s on-screen keyboard and click Scroll Lock. The exact steps to open that keyboard depend on your operating system; Logitech’s general instructions do not specify an OS-specific path.

Use the MK320-specific shortcut only on that model
On the Logitech MK320, press Fn + Pause/Break together to toggle Scroll Lock. Logitech locates Pause/Break above Num Lock on this model. Do not assume this shortcut works on other Logitech keyboards; check the key legends or the support page for your specific model.
Check whether Scroll Lock is off
In Excel, look at the status area in the bottom-left corner. If “Scroll Lock” is still displayed, the feature remains on. Scroll Lock changes what the arrow keys do: instead of moving the active cell or cursor, they scroll the window or spreadsheet. Logitech describes the effect in Excel as moving the sheet while the same cell stays highlighted.

If the key does not respond
- Check whether the key is physically stuck. If it feels mechanically unresponsive, Logitech suggests checking for dirt or debris beneath it.
- Test the keyboard on another computer. This can help determine whether the issue is with the keyboard or its current computer settings.
- Check or reset keyboard drivers and settings. Logitech recommends checking these and says to consider resetting keyboard settings if the problem persists.
The MK320 support article notes that SetPoint can display a “Scroll Lock Off” or “Scroll Lock On” notification when installed. Logitech also says SetPoint is no longer supported or maintained and points users toward Logi Options+ for supported devices. Do not install SetPoint solely to get that notification.
