Those specifications describe the GPU, not a guaranteed laptop’s performance: the system maker sets the GPU’s power configuration and implements display support. Check the exact laptop model before buying.
What is the RTX PRO 500 Blackwell laptop GPU?
It is one of NVIDIA’s professional GPUs designed for laptops and mobile workstations. NVIDIA positions the RTX PRO laptop platform for design, creative work, engineering, CAD, simulation, rendering, data science, software development, and local AI prototyping. Those are the vendor’s intended use cases, not independent performance findings for this specific GPU. NVIDIA’s RTX PRO laptop overview describes the platform’s workflows, drivers, professional-application certifications, manageability, and support.
This is the laptop RTX PRO 500 Blackwell, not a desktop RTX PRO product with a similar name. Desktop GPU examples or results should not be treated as evidence of how this laptop GPU performs.
What are its published specifications?
| Specification | NVIDIA-published value |
|---|---|
| CUDA processing cores | 1,792 |
| RT cores | Fourth generation |
| Tensor cores | Fifth generation |
| GPU memory | 6GB GDDR7 |
| Peak memory bandwidth | 288 (unit not stated in NVIDIA’s table) |
| Memory interface | 96-bit |
| Maximum TGP | 35–75W |
| Peak single-precision performance | 9.2 TFLOPS |
| AI performance | 294 AI TOPS |
| PCIe generation | 5 |
| DisplayPort | 2.1b |
These figures come from NVIDIA’s professional laptop GPU comparison. NVIDIA says peak rates are based on GPU boost clock, and Blackwell AI TOPS use FP4 with sparsity. The maximum power figure includes Dynamic Boost; the GPU’s actual TGP and display capabilities depend on the laptop implementation.

What do the memory and performance figures mean?
6GB of GDDR7
The 6GB figure is the GPU’s listed memory capacity. When comparing laptops for a particular workflow, consider whether that capacity fits the scenes, models, datasets, and applications you plan to use. NVIDIA’s lineup-wide mention of configurations with up to 24GB does not apply to this model; its comparison table lists the RTX PRO 500 with 6GB.
35–75W maximum TGP
This is a range of possible maximum GPU power, not a promise that every RTX PRO 500 laptop runs at 75W. NVIDIA includes Dynamic Boost in the maximum and directs buyers to the laptop manufacturer for the system-specific GPU TGP. A laptop’s cooling and power configuration therefore matter alongside the GPU name.

CUDA cores, TFLOPS, and AI TOPS
NVIDIA lists 1,792 CUDA processing cores, 9.2 peak single-precision TFLOPS, and 294 AI TOPS. These are published technical figures, not a substitute for a benchmark using your application and laptop configuration. NVIDIA also cautions that CUDA core counts should not be compared across GPU generations because architectures differ.
How should you compare RTX PRO 500 laptops?
Use the full system configuration and your actual workload as the basis for comparison—not the GPU name alone.

- Memory: Check whether 6GB is sufficient for the projects, datasets, or models you intend to run.
- GPU power: Ask the laptop maker for the exact system’s GPU TGP. The published 35–75W range does not identify a particular laptop’s setting.
- Cooling and system design: Check the OEM’s configuration details and reviews for the specific laptop; the GPU specification alone does not establish sustained performance.
- Application compatibility: Confirm that the exact laptop and GPU configuration meet your software’s requirements, including any required professional-application certification or driver support. NVIDIA describes certifications and enterprise drivers as RTX PRO platform features, but buyers should verify coverage for their application and model.
- Displays and ports: Verify the laptop’s own specifications for supported displays, output ports, and external-monitor configurations. NVIDIA says display support varies by system.
- Relevant evidence: Look for tests of the exact laptop in the applications you use. The cited NVIDIA materials do not establish independent RTX PRO 500 laptop benchmarks.
Within NVIDIA’s listed Blackwell laptop GPU lineup, the RTX PRO 500 is the lowest tier by core count, memory capacity, peak memory bandwidth, peak single-precision performance, and AI TOPS. These relative specifications do not, by themselves, predict real-world results.
