To use another Facebook profile or a linked account, open Facebook’s profile or account controls and choose an identity that is available there. A Page, an additional profile, and a separate personal account are not interchangeable.
First, identify what you want to switch to

How to switch to a Facebook Page
- Log in to Facebook.
- Click your profile photo in the upper-right corner.
- Click See all profiles.
- Select the Page you want to use.
These are Facebook Help Center’s instructions for switching into a Page. They are not a general method for moving between separate personal-account logins. You need to switch into the Page before managing its access. Facebook Help Center: Page access
How to switch between Facebook profiles
If you have additional profiles associated with your Facebook account, open the profile or account menu and choose the profile you want, if it is listed. Facebook’s menu wording and placement may differ by device or app version, so look for the identity currently shown in the menu rather than relying on a single universal path.
If the profile you want is not available in that menu, confirm that you are signed into the Facebook account associated with it. Do not assume that a Page or another independent personal account will appear as an additional profile.

What Accounts Center does—and what linking means
Accounts Center manages connected experiences across Meta accounts and services. Depending on availability and setup, this can include using login information across linked accounts. It is useful when you want connected accounts to work together, but Meta does not describe one consistent switching path that applies to every device and account combination. Meta Accounts Center
Linking accounts also has a privacy trade-off: Meta says information across linked accounts may be used for personalization, including personalized ads and account suggestions. Review the connected-experience settings before adding accounts if you do not want those accounts linked for that purpose. Meta Help Center

If you mean a second personal Facebook account
Facebook distinguishes a personal account from additional profiles and Pages. Its Help Center says having more than one personal account violates its Community Standards and that it cannot merge multiple personal accounts. If you are consolidating accounts, Facebook advises transferring wanted content manually, making sure the account you keep has admin access to relevant Pages or groups, and then removing duplicate accounts. Keep the right account secure while switching
- Check the displayed name or profile photo before posting, replying, or changing settings so you act as the intended identity.
- On a shared device, verify that you are entering credentials into Facebook and the correct account’s login flow.
- Use Facebook’s login alerts and two-factor authentication to help protect your account. A compatible U2F/FIDO2 security key is an optional login method after it is configured; it is not required to switch identities. Facebook Help Center: account security
- Sign out when you finish on a device you do not control.
