To connect GoDaddy email to Apple Mail on an iPhone, first identify the mailbox product: GoDaddy Microsoft 365 uses the Microsoft Exchange sign-in flow, while Professional Email powered by Titan and Business Email use manual IMAP setup. The steps and server details differ, so choose the matching section before adding the account.

Add GoDaddy Microsoft 365 to Apple Mail
- Open Settings > Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.
- Enter your Microsoft 365 email address and tap Next, then choose Sign In and Continue to open GoDaddy’s sign-in page.
- Complete the sign-in with your email password and follow any verification or multifactor authentication (MFA) prompts. If Microsoft says the address is associated with more than one account, select Work or school account.
- If asked to trust the domain or approve access, review the prompt and proceed as required for the account. Tap Save when the setup flow finishes. GoDaddy’s instructions are at Add my Microsoft 365 email to Apple Mail on iPhone or iPad.
If sign-in shows an extra security prompt
Prompts depend on the account and sign-in circumstances. GoDaddy notes that Stolen Device Protection can impose a security delay when the iPhone is in an unfamiliar location. It also documents a “This browser is a bit unusual” message that may require temporarily turning off iCloud Private Relay. Follow the current prompt and GoDaddy’s instructions; if you temporarily change Stolen Device Protection, GoDaddy advises turning it back on afterward.
Add Professional Email powered by Titan
- Open Settings > Mail > Accounts (some iOS versions show Passwords & Accounts), then tap Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, email address, password, and an optional description, then tap Next and choose IMAP.
- Under Incoming Mail Server, enter
imap.secureserver.net. Under Outgoing Mail Server, entersmtpout.secureserver.net. - Use your full email address as the username and enter the mailbox password in both the incoming and outgoing server sections. Tap Next, then Save. GoDaddy’s instructions are at iPhone: Set up email.
If iPhone cannot discover the Titan account settings, GoDaddy suggests temporarily turning Wi-Fi off while repeating setup, then turning Wi-Fi back on.

Add GoDaddy Business Email
- Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, full email address, password, and an optional description. Tap Next, then select IMAP.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing server names listed for your Business Email account’s region. In both server sections, enter the full email address and mailbox password.
- Fill in all outgoing server details even if iOS marks those fields optional. Select Mail among the account services, save the account, and send a message to yourself to check that setup works. Use GoDaddy’s regional Business Email instructions for the correct hostnames; the cited page is for India, and server values may differ elsewhere.
Replace old settings after a Microsoft 365 migration
If a GoDaddy mailbox was migrated from POP or IMAP to Microsoft 365, GoDaddy advises switching the iPhone account to Exchange. Before removing the old POP account, back up its data: messages, folders, calendars, or contacts may exist only on the device or in the email client and may not be stored on the server. If iPhone asks for manual Exchange details, GoDaddy lists outlook.office365.com as the server, leaves Domain blank, and uses the Microsoft 365 email address as Username. When to use Outlook instead
Apple Mail is the built-in option covered here. GoDaddy also documents adding Microsoft 365 to Outlook on iPhone or iPad, so Outlook is an alternative client if you prefer it. Fix common setup problems
- Microsoft 365 is being rejected as IMAP: remove the generic setup attempt and add it through Microsoft Exchange.
- Microsoft asks which account to use: choose Work or school account for the GoDaddy Microsoft 365 mailbox.
- Microsoft sign-in does not complete: respond to verification or MFA prompts; check whether the phone’s security protections or iCloud Private Relay warning described above is affecting sign-in.
- Titan account discovery fails: confirm both Titan server names and that the username and password are entered in each server section; retry with Wi-Fi temporarily off if needed.
- Business Email cannot send: verify the regional outgoing server and make sure its hostname, username, and password are filled in, even if the fields appear optional.
- A migrated mailbox is missing older data: do not delete the old POP/IMAP account until local data has been backed up.
