A Roku low-power or insufficient-power warning means the player is not getting enough power from its current source. Restart it, check its USB cable, and try another TV USB port. If the warning remains, connect the Roku’s USB cable and power adapter to a wall outlet; Roku calls this the most reliable solution.
What a Roku low-power warning means
The warning means the Roku player is not receiving enough power through the TV’s USB port. A flashing red light can also indicate insufficient power. A solid red light usually points to overheating instead, which is a different issue. Roku’s official troubleshooting guidance covers these warnings.
Try these fixes in order

Restart the Roku
Unplug the player’s power cable, wait 10 seconds, then reconnect it.

Check the USB cable
Use the USB cable that came with the Roku. If you substituted another cable, switch back to the Roku cable and check whether the warning clears; some cables may not carry enough current.

Try another TV USB port
If the player is powered by the TV, move its cable to a different USB port. Ports can supply different amounts of power, and older USB 2.0 ports may struggle to power the player.

Use a wall outlet
Connect the Roku’s USB cable to its power adapter, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet rather than the TV’s USB port. Roku describes this as “the most reliable solution.” Wall power also lets the player remain powered while the TV is off, so it can boot faster when you turn the TV on.

Contact Roku if the warning persists
If the warning remains when the player is powered from a wall outlet, the player or its USB port may be damaged. Contact Roku Support.
If you need a replacement cable or adapter
First try the free checks above. If the original cable is lost or faulty, Roku says a replacement cable is available through its Accessories Store. If you need a power adapter, Roku’s general guidance is 5V and 1A, or equivalent. Confirm your exact Roku model’s power requirements and that the connector is compatible before buying; that general rating is not a model-by-model compatibility list.

A long, low-quality USB extension cable can drop voltage, so avoid one when troubleshooting. A replacement adapter will not fix a player or USB port that is damaged.
