The cases pair a detachable keyboard with a kickstand and trackpad; the announcement’s U.S. prices ranged from $199.99 to $259.99. Those are historical launch prices, not confirmed current prices.
Which iPad models did Logitech announce cases for?
Logitech said the announced models would be available later that month for four iPad sizes. Its announcement covered the iPad Pro 13-inch and 11-inch, plus the iPad Air 13-inch and 11-inch. These names identify the models in the May 2024 announcement; they do not establish compatibility with every iPad of the same screen size.
Logitech’s current product page prompts shoppers, “Which iPad do you have?” Use its product selector and compatibility details to match the case to your iPad’s exact generation and screen size. Apple’s accessories catalog also lists Combo Touch cases, but a family listing alone does not confirm that a particular case fits your device.
Check Logitech’s current Combo Touch product listings and compatibility selector, and compare the exact model with Apple’s iPad keyboard accessories catalog before buying.

What did the announced Combo Touch cases include?
Logitech described the new versions as its slimmest and lightest Combo Touch cases to that point, with form-fit protection. These are the manufacturer’s claims, not results from an independent comparison. Each design combines a case with a detachable keyboard and flexible kickstand, so the iPad can be set up for different uses, including typing, viewing, sketching and reading.
- Detachable keyboard: Remove it when you want to use the iPad without the keyboard attached.
- Kickstand: Adjust the stand to support viewing or other activities.
- Trackpad: Logitech described it as the largest trackpad it had included in a Combo Touch at the time, and specified Multi-Touch support.
- Backlit keys: The announcement listed automatic backlighting with 16 brightness levels, well-spaced keys and shortcut keys.
- Connection and power: Logitech said the Smart Connector handles connectivity without requiring keyboard charging or Bluetooth pairing.
How much did the cases cost at launch?

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to check before choosing one
Start with fit, not the product-family name: confirm the exact iPad generation and screen size in the current listing. Then decide whether the detachable keyboard and kickstand suit how you use the tablet, and whether the trackpad, backlighting and shortcut keys matter to you. Check the current price on the retailer’s listing; the 2024 figures above are not a reliable guide to today’s price.
