Riders Republic can be played solo, with races and events against player ghosts and six career progressions available outside PvP. Its sports, exploration and unlocks offer varied goals, but the replay value depends on whether you enjoy revisiting event formats and working through progression. Ubisoft does not publish an official solo-playtime estimate.
What can you do solo in Riders Republic?
Ubisoft Help confirms that you can play solo, with up to 64 players, or with a friend group online. In Solo mode, races and events pit you against player ghosts rather than requiring a live multiplayer match. Ubisoft’s game modes guide lists Free For All, Mass Race, Tricks Battle and Showdown as multiplayer modes.

Ubisoft’s current game page describes six career progressions playable solo or in PvP. It also presents activities across biking and BMX, snowboarding, skiing, wingsuit activities and skate content, alongside free-roam exploration, collectibles, discoverable spots, stunt parks and mountain stories. This is the range shown on Ubisoft’s live page, not a guarantee that every event or reward is permanently available in the same form.
How does solo progression work?
Solo play is not limited to repeating races without a larger goal. Ubisoft describes career advancement, gear unlocks, sponsor milestones and event milestones as part of the progression loop. These give you reasons to move between career activities and pursue new rewards as you play.
#1 Best Overall
- Battle against over 50 players simultaneously in a massive multiplayer playground.
- Compete in an all-out mass start race—collide, grind, and fight your way to the finish
- Customize your character to show off your style to your friends or show up the competition.
- Bike, ski, snowboard, or wingsuit through a seamless open world in Career mode or multiplayer events.
- Go wild on the heights of iconic US national parks like Yosemite, Zion, and Bryce Canyon.
The game has also used a seasonal layer to encourage return visits. For example, Ubisoft’s Season 12 announcement described a free progression with 20 tiers of weekly challenges, live events and unlockable rewards, as well as an Activity Panel for reaching Mass Races, exploration spots, career progress and live or LAB events. That is a historical example of how the seasonal system worked, not confirmation that Season 12 rewards are available now. Ubisoft’s news and updates page is the place to check current announcements.
Does it have enough replay value for a solo player?
There is no official number of solo hours or completion time to use as a yardstick. A more useful way to judge the game is to consider what keeps you interested:
Rank #2
- Jump into the riders Republic massive multiplayer playground.
- Meet and compete with other players, ride hard with an exciting range of activities such as bike, ski, snowboard, wingsuit and Rocket wingsuit.
- Create and shape your own rider through evolutive, progression-based gear and define every aspect of your avatar.
- Riders Republic will run at 60 FPS on next gen consoles and display more than 50 players simultaneously live on screen.Make a name for yourself in a variety of sports, rise to the top of the leaderboard in career mode.
- Event access: Solo races and events against player ghosts let you participate without joining a live multiplayer match.
- Different kinds of goals: Career tracks sit alongside exploration, collectibles, stunts and several sports, so you can change activities when one event type feels repetitive.
- Unlocks and milestones: Career progress, gear, sponsors and challenge rewards provide ongoing objectives.
- Willingness to repeat: Much of the lasting appeal comes down to whether you enjoy replaying event formats, exploring the map and chasing unlocks. That is a judgment based on the activities Ubisoft describes, not a measured replay-time finding.
Those systems make the game a plausible fit for solo players who like an action-sports sandbox and gradual progression. If you mainly want competitive multiplayer, the separate online modes may matter more to your decision. Ubisoft’s solo-mode information does not establish that the whole game is playable offline or clarify every server-dependent feature.

Ubisoft’s mode guide says console players may need an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscription to access online multiplayer modes. This applies to online multiplayer access, not as a blanket statement that a subscription is required for solo play.
