If Dog Online at dogonline.net will not load, start with a refresh and browser checks. If progress is missing or will not save, protect the browser’s cookies and site data while checking settings. The official site links to Account Recovery for account-access problems; browser-game storage advice from other platforms is useful context, but does not confirm how Dog Online saves progress.
First, identify what is failing
Separate a game that will not load from one that opens but does not save. Also distinguish account-access trouble from progress that may have been stored in browser data. These problems have different checks, and clearing data too early can make a local save harder or impossible to recover.
- Game will not load: the page is blank, the game does not start, or its content fails to appear.
- Progress will not save or has disappeared: gameplay works, but progress is not retained or is missing on return.
- Account access problem: you cannot sign in or access an account, regardless of whether local progress is present.
If Dog Online will not load
1. Refresh, then restart the browser
Reload the Dog Online page. If a regular refresh does not help, try a hard refresh, then close and reopen the browser. These are low-risk first checks recommended in browser-game troubleshooting guidance from Spil Games Support.
2. Try another up-to-date browser
Open Dog Online in another current browser. If it works there, the issue may be specific to the original browser or its settings. Miniclip also recommends trying an alternate browser and updating the browser for games that fail to load or show a blank page: Miniclip: Game doesn’t load or only shows a blank page.

3. Temporarily disable extensions
If the game remains blank or content fails to appear, temporarily turn off browser extensions and reload. An extension may interfere with page content; Miniclip lists disabling extensions among its troubleshooting steps. Re-enable extensions afterward, especially if they provide security or accessibility features.
4. Check pop-up blocking and available browser memory
As a further check, temporarily allow pop-ups for the site if your browser blocks them, and close other tabs or programs to free memory. These are general suggestions from EA Pogo support, not confirmed Dog Online requirements: EA Pogo game troubleshooting.

5. See whether the issue is browser-specific
If the game fails in more than one browser, these checks cannot establish whether Dog Online has an outage or a game-side defect. The available official Dog Online page does not document current outages, known loading issues, or browser compatibility. For an account problem, use its Account Recovery page.
If Dog Online is not saving progress
Allow cookies and site storage
Check the browser’s privacy or site settings to ensure cookies and local storage are not blocked for Dog Online. Other browser-game platforms explain that these features can support functions such as login and saving. For example, Spil Games says: “We recommend you set your browser to enable local storage and cookies while playing on our site.” That guidance is for Spil Games, not a Dog Online-specific instruction. Poki likewise notes that cookie blocking can prevent progress from saving on its platform: Poki’s cookie information.

Use the same browser profile and device
Return using the same browser profile and device you used before. Some games keep progress in browser-local storage, so switching browsers or devices can make that progress unavailable. Arkadium describes this behavior for most of its own games; it does not establish that Dog Online uses the same save method: Arkadium: I’ve lost my progress. Why?
Avoid private browsing and automatic cleanup
For a session where you expect browser-local progress to persist, use a regular browser window rather than private browsing. Private browsing and cookie blockers can affect saving on some game platforms, and automatic browser cleanup or cleanup utilities can remove local site data. Poki and Arkadium describe these as possible causes for games on their platforms, not confirmed causes for Dog Online.

Do not clear cookies or site data as an early fix
Clearing browser data may remove saved progress. Spil Games warns that clearing cache or data can lose progress in casual games, and Arkadium notes that clearing cookies can remove browser-local saves. If you want to test whether cached files are the issue, choose a cache-only clearing option if your browser offers one, and leave cookies and site data intact. Avoid cleanup utilities until you know what data they will delete.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. When to use Account Recovery
If the problem is signing in or accessing an account, use the official Dog Online Account Recovery page. That is the account route linked from the Dog Online homepage. It is distinct from troubleshooting a browser-local save; the available information does not establish that account recovery can restore progress that was stored only in browser data.
