No. In GTA Online’s 2026 Ghosts Exposed hunt, you can collect the first nine photos across multiple in-game nights. The tenth ghost is different: it appears between 00:00 and 01:00 in-game only after the other nine photos have been accepted. If you reach that hour without all nine, return during the next in-game night.
How the 2026 hunt’s timing works

- The hunt runs from 20:00 to 06:00 in-game.
- Each of the first nine ghosts has its own one-hour appearance window.
- The tenth ghost’s window is 00:00–01:00 in-game, and it is locked until the other nine photos have been accepted.
Because the first nine can be gathered on different nights, missing one of their windows does not force you to restart the hunt. The key is to have all nine accepted before the final ghost’s midnight window on the night you plan to finish.

If you are collecting photos over several nights
Use each night to photograph the ghosts whose windows you can reach, then continue on a later in-game night. Keep track of which photos have been accepted. Once you have all nine, plan to be ready for the 00:00–01:00 slot; if you miss it, the guide advises trying again the next in-game night.

If you want to attempt the hunt in one sitting
A continuous attempt is possible to try, but the available guide does not establish a guaranteed route that every player can finish in one real-world sitting. The one-hour windows and travel between northern and city locations make route timing important. GTADB recommends a fast in-game vehicle as a convenience, not a stated requirement. A current walkthrough from GTA BOOM reports completing the activity solo on PC, so that guide indicates a group is not required; it is not independent proof that every route or session will work the same way. Rockstar’s GTAV Title Update 1.73 Notes list the 2026 Halloween event as running from October 1 through November 4. Rockstar’s seasonal announcement provides event context, while the detailed times and route information come from current player guides. These dates, locations, and windows apply to the 2026 event; a later year may change the hunt.
