Place the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser (model WM03R) on a stable surface, aim it at your screen or wall, and power it on. Its built-in autofocus and automatic keystone correction should adjust the picture. For the sharpest, least-distorted result, keep the projector square to the screen and use the integrated stand to fine-tune its angle.
1. Place and aim the projector
-
Set the projector on a stable surface facing the wall or screen. Open and angle its integrated stand as needed to position the image.
-
Keep the projector as level and centered with the screen as your setup allows. For accurate calibration, XGIMI says the side throw angle should not exceed 25 degrees. This is manufacturer guidance, not an independently measured limit.
-
Choose an image size suited to your room. XGIMI lists a 40–200-inch image-size range and recommends 60–120 inches for the best viewing experience. Its listed throw ratio is 1.2:1; actual results can vary with setup and conditions.

2. Let autofocus sharpen the image
Power on the projector and allow its automatic focus feature to adjust the picture. XGIMI lists autofocus as a built-in feature for the Elfin Flip Laser. The reviewed product and support materials do not establish a separate manual-focus control sequence for this model, so start by adjusting placement and allowing autofocus to run rather than searching for a manual focus menu.
3. Correct a skewed or uneven picture
Try automatic keystone correction
If the image is not rectangular, press the remote’s Quick settings button and choose “Auto keystone correction.” XGIMI Support documents this path in its keystone correction guidance. Menu wording can differ across software versions or regions; if the label is different, use the current on-screen controls or consult the current electronic manual.

Use manual correction for more control
The projector also supports manual vertical and horizontal keystone correction up to ±40 degrees. XGIMI recommends four-point manual correction for further adjustment. Use the on-screen controls to move the image’s corners until the projected shape fits the screen. Manual adjustment gives you more control than automatic correction, but requires aligning the points yourself.
4. Use Screen Alignment Assist only when its conditions are met
Screen Alignment Assist is separate from autofocus and basic keystone correction. To use it, enable the feature in system settings, scan the displayed QR code, then use your phone to move the projected image until all four sides extend beyond the screen edge. The projector then adjusts the image to fit. XGIMI describes the feature in its Elfin Flip product information and Screen Alignment Assist support article.

XGIMI Support says the projected image must cover the full screen, be larger than half of the projector’s default image, and the screen must have a black border. If your screen lacks a black border or those image-size conditions are not met, use automatic keystone correction or manual four-point correction instead.
