How it fit into Samsung Display’s showcase
Flex Gaming was one part of a broader display demonstration. Samsung Display also mentioned Steam Deck and Razer Blade 16 devices equipped with Samsung OLED technology. They were separate devices in the showcase, not Flex Gaming variants or evidence that Samsung had announced a retail handheld. InZOI was demonstrated separately with a glasses-free 3D display.
Contemporaneous reporting by TechSpot described the concept as folding in the middle and having joysticks and a directional pad. Those are outlet-reported observations, rather than specifications listed in Samsung Display’s announcement.

Is Flex Gaming available to buy?
Samsung presented Flex Gaming as a concept, not as a product launch. The available announcement provides no price, preorder, release date, or commitment to sell it. A 7.2-inch foldable OLED and a game demonstration establish what Samsung Display showcased, but not how a finished device would perform or whether it would become commercially available.
For now, Flex Gaming is best understood as a demonstration of a possible foldable gaming handheld form factor. Its showcase alongside existing gaming devices does not establish that it offers better performance, portability, or gameplay than a conventional fixed-screen handheld.
