The practical choice depends on the space and workflow—not on a single device being best for every hybrid office.
What Logitech means by its “sweet spot”
Logitech frames collaboration as a workplace-systems challenge: employees may use offices, homes and mobile workspaces, so equipment needs to work across those settings. The company’s FY2024 shareholder letter describes its design-led, software-enabled hardware approach and says it intends to build on its consumer business while expanding further into business customers. For hybrid work, Logitech describes a division of labor in which offices are used for collaboration and remote workspaces for focused productivity. Which Logitech products address different collaboration needs?
Rally Bar for shared meeting rooms
Rally Bar is Logitech’s room-scale video-conferencing example. The company’s FY2025 annual report places it in the Video Collaboration category, describing conference-room cameras that pair enterprise-quality audio with 4K video and are intended for different room sizes. Rally Board 65 for flexible spaces
Logitech describes the Rally Board 65 as a portable, 65-inch touchscreen that can be moved into open areas, town halls or other meeting locations. How room occupancy can connect to booking and video calls
Logitech says Rally Board 65 or Rally Bar can support Auto Book and Auto Release workflows by detecting whether a room is occupied. The workflow can update linked workplace calendars, Tap Scheduler displays and Logitech Sync occupancy trends. In practical terms, occupancy detection can help booking systems reflect whether a room is in use; the value depends on how an organization configures and integrates those systems. This makes room equipment part of a broader deployment: camera and audio coverage serve the meeting, while occupancy data may feed room scheduling and workplace visibility. A team evaluating this approach should confirm that its calendar, room-booking tools, scheduling displays and management workflows can participate in the intended integration.

What workplace trends support Logitech’s approach?
Logitech’s hybrid-work article reports that 82% of employees spent two or more days per week in the office in 2024, attributing the figure to McKinsey (2024). It also reports, citing Steelcase, that 40% of employees spend an average of 30 minutes per day searching for available meeting or collaboration space; the Logitech page does not state the Steelcase figure’s year. A Logitech-hosted Frost & Sullivan ebook reports that, in its 2024 research, 81% expected to have adopted video-conferencing room devices by the end of 2024 and 78% expected dedicated personal video-conferencing devices by then. It also reports that 61% expected to increase video-conferencing investment by 2026. These are research forecasts and should not be read as confirmed adoption or spending outcomes. How IT teams should compare Logitech room equipment
Start with the collaboration job to be done, then check whether the device and surrounding systems support it. A headset for one person is not a substitute for a room camera, and a portable shared-space setup has different requirements from a dedicated conference room.
- Space and coverage: Identify room size, seating arrangement, whether participants move around, and whether the device will stay installed or move between locations.
- Audio and video: Compare the required camera coverage, image quality and audio pickup against the room’s layout and meeting format. Logitech describes its room-camera category as offering 4K video and enterprise-quality audio for different room sizes.
- Meeting platforms: Confirm the organization’s Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet environment and validate the intended device configuration for that deployment.
- Deployment and management: Assess installation effort, remote administration and ongoing support. These are also priorities identified in the Frost & Sullivan research hosted by Logitech.
- Booking and occupancy: If room utilization is a goal, verify calendar and room-booking integration, scheduler display behavior, occupancy detection and the data available through Logitech Sync.
- Personal or shared use: Choose personal audio such as Zone Wireless 2 for an individual’s open-office or shared-workspace needs; consider Rally Bar or Rally Board 65 when the requirement is group collaboration.
- Portability: For town halls or open collaboration areas, consider whether a movable touchscreen setup is more suitable than a fixed room installation.
What remains uncertain about the strategy
Logitech’s FY2025 filing cautions that business results depend on factors including macroeconomic conditions, enterprise demand, office-space utilization and the timing of enterprise infrastructure investment. It also identifies uncertainty in further developing its B2B go-to-market approach. Those caveats matter because office collaboration spending depends on how organizations use space and when they choose to invest. Logitech’s product range demonstrates an approach to hybrid collaboration; it does not establish that every deployment will increase productivity or that demand will develop on a predictable schedule.
