CTL’s two new 14-inch enterprise Chromebook families are the Chromebook Plus Enterprise PX141G and the Chromebook Enterprise PX141E, announced November 21, 2024. The PX141G offers more processing and memory headroom, while the PX141E targets essential, cost-sensitive tasks. Both include a Chrome Enterprise Upgrade license for organizational management and deployment.
What CTL announced
CTL announced the PX141G and PX141E enterprise Chromebook families on November 21, 2024. The company positions them for professional settings such as retail, healthcare and frontline work. Both are 14-inch devices and include a Chrome Enterprise Upgrade license. CTL’s launch announcement describes the license as enabling instant deployment and ChromeOS management.
How the PX141G and PX141E configurations compare
Each family has a non-touch and touchscreen configuration. CTL’s published specifications show a clear split in processor, memory, storage and, for the PX141E touchscreen model, display resolution.
| Model | Display and input | Processor | Memory | Storage | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PX141GX | 14-inch, non-touch | Intel Core i3-N305 | 8 GB | 128 GB UFS | General workforce use with more processing headroom |
| PX141GXT | 14-inch touchscreen | Intel Core i3-N305 | 16 GB | 256 GB UFS | Touch workflows and users who benefit from more memory and local storage |
| PX141E | 14-inch, non-touch; 1366 × 768 | Intel N100 | 8 GB | 64 GB eMMC | Essential, cost-sensitive tasks |
| PX141EXT | 14-inch touchscreen; 1920 × 1080 | Intel N100 | 8 GB | 128 GB eMMC | Essential tasks where touch and a full-HD display are useful |
These are CTL-published configurations, not independent performance-test results. The PX141G’s 14-inch 1920 × 1080 IPS display and the PX141E touchscreen’s 1920 × 1080 resolution are vendor specifications. CTL’s announcement and its PX141G product listing provide model details.

Which family suits a workforce deployment?
Choose PX141G for greater headroom
The PX141G is the stronger fit when employees regularly keep multiple browser tabs or work applications open, or when a deployment needs more local storage. Its Core i3-N305 options pair 8 GB RAM with 128 GB UFS storage on the PX141GX, or 16 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS on the touchscreen PX141GXT. The touchscreen model is the only listed PX141G configuration with 16 GB RAM.
Choose PX141E for essential use cases
The PX141E uses an Intel N100 processor and 8 GB RAM in both listed variants. The non-touch model has 64 GB eMMC and a 1366 × 768 screen; the PX141EXT adds touch, doubles storage to 128 GB eMMC, and raises resolution to 1920 × 1080. It is the more targeted option for organizations prioritizing basic ChromeOS tasks over added hardware headroom.

Match the input and screen to the job
Touch can suit point-of-sale, check-in or other workflows where direct screen interaction is part of the task, but the buyer should confirm the software and work surface fit that use. For staff who mostly type, the non-touch configuration avoids paying for an input mode they may not use. The PX141E models also differ notably in resolution, so screen clarity needs may influence the choice independently of touch.
Enterprise management, durability and fleet support
CTL says both Chromebook families include a Chrome Enterprise Upgrade license, intended to support ChromeOS management and organizational deployment. The license is relevant to IT teams provisioning and managing devices; it does not mean that the computers arrive preconfigured for a particular organization’s policies.

CTL lists Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports and an SD-card reader on both families. It also cites spill-resistant keyboards, privacy-shutter webcams, 180-degree hinges, MIL-STD-810H durability and drop testing from 75 cm. These are manufacturer claims; independent validation is not established here. CTL advertises battery life of up to 10 hours, which is a vendor figure rather than a guaranteed runtime for every workload.
CTL lists Google automatic updates through June 2033 for these devices. The company also offers fleet services covering planning, configuration, deployment, warranty and continuing care, as well as end-of-life trade-ins and recycling. Those services may matter as much as the hardware to organizations standardizing a large fleet.
