EiQ Networks’ November 22, 2013 announcement presented a security intelligence platform for organizations seeking to address security and compliance requirements. Contemporary coverage identified the platform as SecureVue. EiQ later described SecureVue as combining security monitoring with controls assessment, configuration auditing, compliance mapping, and remediation guidance—but those feature details come from a 2015 vendor announcement and do not establish what is available today.

What did EiQ Networks announce in November 2013?

Dark Reading’s archive lists EiQ Networks’ announcement on November 22, 2013, under a title describing a continuous security intelligence platform intended to meet organizations’ security and compliance requirements. That wording reflects the announcement’s stated purpose, not proof that the product met every organization’s needs or produced independently verified results. Dark Reading’s archive identifies the announcement.

Contemporaneous December 2013 coverage identified EiQ’s platform as SecureVue. It also described SOCVue as a security-monitoring software-as-a-service offering for organizations without the staff expertise or resources to operate a security program. These are historical product descriptions, not confirmation of present-day availability. Dark Reading’s December 2013 coverage reported on the products.

How was SecureVue intended to address security and compliance?

In a June 2015 product announcement, EiQ described a later version of SecureVue as a platform for continuously assessing security controls and supporting operational monitoring. Its stated capabilities included:

These capabilities and the quote come from EiQ’s June 16, 2015 announcement; they are the vendor’s descriptions, not independent efficacy findings or a current feature list. EiQ Networks’ announcement provided that product snapshot.

How did SecureVue relate to EiQ’s other products?

EiQ’s December 2013 materials described three separate free tools—FlowVue, LogVue, and EventVue—for security monitoring on up to 25 devices. The tools addressed network-flow analysis, centralized log management, and event monitoring, respectively, and were presented as a way for organizations with limited monitoring capabilities to begin log-management and SIEM use cases. The 25-device limit applied to those tools, not to SecureVue. Dark Reading’s December 2013 report described them.

What can readers conclude about the platform today?

The dated announcements establish how EiQ presented SecureVue and related services between 2013 and 2015. They do not establish whether SecureVue or SOCVue is currently sold, supported, or maintained, nor do they supply independent measurements of security outcomes. Treat the feature descriptions as historical context rather than a current product recommendation.
