ViewSonic announced the CDE92UW on June 14, 2024: a 92-inch-class commercial display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and native 5120 × 2160 resolution. It is designed for large collaboration rooms and digital signage, not as a conventional desktop monitor. Its unusually wide canvas, integrated sharing features and commercial operating rating may suit a Teams Room or venue, but its size and weight make installation planning essential.
What the CDE92UW is designed to do
ViewSonic positions the CDE92UW for collaboration and digital signage in corporate, education, retail and large-venue environments. In a Microsoft Teams Room, the wide canvas can accommodate people and shared content side by side, depending on the room’s Teams configuration and AV setup. It is also intended for signage and other large-format display uses. ViewSonic’s US product page identifies the display’s built-in platform and sharing capabilities, but the display alone should not be assumed to include a complete Teams Rooms system.
The company announced the model at InfoComm on June 14, 2024. ViewSonic Business Line Director Jeff Muto described it as a display integrators could use for customers in large venues.
How large and wide is the picture?
The product is marketed as 92 inches; ViewSonic lists its viewable diagonal as 91.52 inches. The native resolution is 5120 × 2160, in a 21:9 aspect ratio. ViewSonic says that format offers 33% more screen real estate than a traditional 16:9 display. That percentage is the manufacturer’s comparison, not an independent measurement.

The width can be useful when a room needs to show several kinds of information at once, such as remote participants alongside a presentation. The benefit depends on the application and content: a 21:9 screen does not make every video or meeting layout wider, and content designed for 16:9 may not fill the full display.

ViewSonic also lists integrated vCast and myViewBoard Display for sharing, ViewSonic Manager for remote management, and compatibility with Crestron Connected, Extron and AMX control systems. These are manufacturer-stated capabilities; confirm software, network access, control-system compatibility and required licensing or configuration with the integrator.

Regional specifications can differ
The US specification is not universal. ViewSonic’s European product page describes the panel as VA rather than IPS-type and lists different port-generation details. It also specifies a typical backlight life of 50,000 hours for that regional listing. Buyers should use the product page or specification sheet for the exact region and SKU they are purchasing rather than combining figures from different regional listings.

The US listing gives a net weight of 95.68 lb (43.4 kg) and body dimensions of 85.91 × 37.16 × 3.35 inches. Those dimensions and weight affect delivery, handling, mounting and any move through the building. ViewSonic’s announcement says the display can fit a standard cargo elevator, but that does not establish that it will fit every elevator, doorway, corridor, loading area or installation route.
- Measure the entire route, including door clearances, turns, elevator interiors and any staging area.
- Confirm that the intended wall, stand or cart is rated for the display’s size and weight, and check whether portrait or landscape mounting is required.
- Coordinate delivery and lifting with the installer; do not assume the net product weight includes packaging or handling equipment.
- Plan cable paths, power, network connections, camera placement and service access before finalizing the room layout.
ViewSonic lists a power cable, USB-C cable, remote and batteries, RS232 adapter, clamps and camera plates among the included items on its US page. Verify the supplied accessories for the specific regional package and installation; the listing does not make those items a substitute for a mounting or conferencing-system plan.

What to check when specifying a Teams Room
The CDE92UW can be one component in a Teams Room, but buyers should distinguish the display from a complete room system. ViewSonic’s US price-list result from September 2025 shows a CDE92UW-based TeamJoin TRS10-UB Teams Rooms bundle; that dated listing confirms a bundle configuration existed, not its current price or availability. Compare the standalone display and any bundle against the actual room design:
- Whether the conferencing computer and Teams Rooms components are included, and which Teams Rooms experience the configuration supports.
- Camera, microphone and speaker requirements for the room size and seating layout.
- How laptops and room devices will connect through HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C, including USB-C power and peripheral needs.
- How the display will be mounted and controlled, including network and AV-control integration.
- Warranty, support, installation scope and the current total installed price.
Price and availability
ViewSonic’s US product page currently presents a “Contact Sales” purchase route rather than a public retail price. A current street price, marketplace listing or stock position is therefore not established here. Confirm the exact SKU, regional configuration and installed quote with ViewSonic or an authorized commercial AV reseller.
