A 2014 review described a broad set of options—including FIFO pasting, grouped “Set Phrases,” multi-clip combining, regular-expression tools, and history backup—but those feature details are historical, not a verified specification of the current app.
What is Clibor?
Clibor is a clipboard manager for Windows. Instead of limiting you to the most recently copied item, it is intended to keep a history of copied text so you can return to earlier entries. The official English product result describes it as free and points to the Microsoft Store for installation: Clibor’s official English site.
Do not confuse Clibor with ClipB, a separate clipboard application for macOS and Windows. Similar names do not mean they are the same product.
How does clipboard history work?
In BetaNews’ November 10, 2014 review, pressing Ctrl twice opened Clibor’s history. The reviewer said the history could hold up to 1,000 items at that time, and that double-clicking an entry prepared it for pasting. These are instructions and capacity claims from that dated review, not confirmed steps or a current limit. Check the current app’s documentation or settings for its present shortcut and behavior.

What made Clibor configurable?
The feature set described by BetaNews in 2014 went beyond retrieving an old clip. The review reported that Clibor exposed many functions through its tray menu and Preferences dialog, which it said had 14 tabs. That count and the settings below describe the reviewed version; they should not be assumed to match the current release.
FIFO pasting and combining clips
The review described an optional first-in, first-out (FIFO) mode: copied items were queued so that subsequent pastes used them in the order they were copied. It also reported a tool for combining multiple copied text items, either preserving their original order or arranging them in a custom order. Those functions address different needs: FIFO is for sequential pastes, while combining creates one assembled text from several clips.

Reusable “Set Phrases”
BetaNews reported that users could save frequently reused text as “Set Phrases,” arrange phrases into groups, and export or import groups for sharing. This could be useful for recurring text such as standard responses or boilerplate, if these features remain available in the version you use.
Search and text transformation
The 2014 review said Clibor could search clipboard history, including with regular expressions, and transform clipboard text using formats and regular expressions. A regular expression can describe a text pattern, making it possible to search or manipulate text more flexibly than with a literal word search. The review does not establish which patterns, transformations, or controls are present today.

Backup and restoration
The same review described backing up and restoring clipboard history, with optional encryption for the history file. It does not confirm whether current versions still offer encryption or explain its implementation. If clipboard contents may include sensitive information, check current documentation before relying on encryption or assuming that a backup is protected.
What is Clibor’s current history limit?
The published figures conflict: BetaNews reported a limit of up to 1,000 items in 2014, while BCN Retail reported up to 10,000 in 2022. Neither source establishes the current official limit, so neither number should be treated as today’s specification. The current official English product result does not state an item limit.
