That makes “now available” a historical launch claim—not confirmation that this specific model is in stock today. Current availability and pricing need to be checked against live listings.
Which Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook is this?
The model in question is the 13-inch, sixth-generation IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook, part of Lenovo’s 13ITL6 family. Lenovo announced the model on 23 June 2021 as part of a lineup for home-office and classroom use. Lenovo described it as a “more versatile” 2-in-1 alongside the 14-inch IdeaPad 5i Chromebook. Lenovo’s announcement
The Core i3 option is the Intel Core i3-1115G4, a Tiger Lake processor listed in Lenovo’s Gen 6 product datasheet. The Flex 5i name spans multiple generations, so a listing that simply says “Flex 5i Chromebook” may refer to a different screen size, processor, or model year.
Is it available now?
The available evidence establishes the product’s 2021 announcement and launch period, but not current inventory in 2026. Lenovo’s US product-family page identifies the model family; it does not by itself verify that a retailer has the Core i3-1115G4 configuration in stock.

What the Gen 6 model offers
Convertible touchscreen design
Lenovo’s product materials describe a touchscreen laptop with a 360-degree hinge, allowing it to fold into different use positions. This is the key distinction from a conventional clamshell Chromebook if you want a convertible form factor.
Configuration details depend on the SKU
The datasheet lists family-level options, but memory, storage, display, and other specifications need to be checked against the exact machine being sold. A Core i3-1115G4 listing confirms the processor only if the seller’s description or system specifications identify that chip; the model family name alone is insufficient.

Optional pen support
Lenovo lists a Digital Pen as an optional feature. That does not establish that a pen is included, or that every third-party stylus works. Confirm the exact SKU’s pen support and compatibility before buying one.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to check before buying
- Generation and screen size: Confirm that the listing is for the 13-inch Gen 6, not a later Flex 5i generation.
- Processor: Look for the Intel Core i3-1115G4 if you specifically want the Tiger Lake configuration.
- Memory, storage, and display: Verify the listing’s actual specifications; they can vary by SKU and market.
- Condition and seller: Distinguish new, refurbished, and used stock, and review the seller and warranty terms.
- Current price and stock: Treat both as live listing details rather than relying on 2021 launch coverage.
- Pen: Check whether one is included and confirm compatibility for the exact configuration.
Performance and battery-life evidence
The cited product materials identify the processor and design, but they do not provide an independent hands-on assessment or a verified benchmark for this configuration. They also do not establish measured battery life. Those results should not be inferred from the Core i3 label or from specifications for a different Flex 5i generation.
