There is no single official public list of working Minecraft Dungeons II codes. The rewards described by Mojang use different claim methods: some are tied to playing the original game on the same Microsoft account, some are preorder or Deluxe Edition contents, and one current livestream code unlocks a cape for Minecraft—not Dungeons II.
Which Minecraft Dungeons II rewards are available, and what do they unlock?
The official Minecraft Dungeons II capes and promotions guide, dated September 29, 2026, and the official Dungeons II FAQ describe these reward routes:
| Reward | What it unlocks | How to claim it | Limit or deadline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hero Cape | A cosmetic cape in Minecraft Dungeons II; it can also be used in Minecraft Java and/or Bedrock Edition. | Play Minecraft Dungeons and sign in to Dungeons II with the same Microsoft account. For the Minecraft cape, sign in to Java and/or Bedrock with that account. | Claim by December 31, 2026. The FAQ says qualifying play on Game Pass or Steam counts, and that joining a friend’s co-op session can qualify you without owning either game. |
| Twisted Cape, Twisted Chicken, and two skins | The preorder cosmetic bundle for Minecraft Dungeons II; the cape is also available in Minecraft after same-account sign-in. | Existing preorder owners sign in to Dungeons II with their Microsoft account and confirm the preorder items. For a physical-copy preorder code, redeem it in the platform store first. | These items were preorder-only and are no longer available through a new purchase. |
| Deluxe Edition bundle | Soul Cape, Blub pet, four additional hero skins, and DLC 1 and DLC 2 when released. | Obtain the Deluxe Edition. | These are edition contents, not a public redeem-code offer. |
| Aurora Cape | A cosmetic cape for Minecraft only; it does not unlock in Minecraft Dungeons II. | Watch a rewards-enabled Dungeons II livestream on TikTok for at least 3 minutes or on Twitch for at least 15 minutes, then redeem the code sent to your platform account. | Watch from September 29, 2026, 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time through October 14, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Redeem by October 31, 2026. Supplies are limited. |
| Corrupted Creeper Cape | A cosmetic cape. | The official guide says it will appear in future events and promotions. | No specific current code or claim window is given. |
| Special Cape | A cosmetic cape. | The official guide says to stay tuned for details. | No method, code, or deadline is specified. |
How to get the Hero Cape
The Hero Cape is an account-linked reward, not a code to type into a redemption page. Play the original Minecraft Dungeons and then sign in to Minecraft Dungeons II with the same Microsoft account by December 31, 2026. The official FAQ says existing qualifying play through Game Pass or Steam counts; it also says you can join a friend’s co-op session to receive the entitlement without owning either game.
To use the cape in Minecraft as well, sign in to Minecraft Java and/or Bedrock Edition with the same Microsoft account. Mojang describes the Hero Cape as “a special cosmetic reward that celebrates the original Minecraft Dungeons adventure.”

Where do I redeem a Minecraft Dungeons II cape code?
Use the redemption route that matches the reward. Do not enter every code at Minecraft.net.
- Aurora Cape stream code: The code is delivered through TikTok Notifications or Twitch Inventory after meeting the watch requirement. Redeem it at minecraft.net/redeem by October 31, 2026. The page requires an active Microsoft account.
- Physical preorder code: Redeem the package code through the store for the platform it is for—Xbox, Nintendo, or PlayStation—then sign in to Dungeons II and confirm the preorder items.
- Hero Cape and cross-game preorder cape: These use account-linked entitlements. Sign in to the relevant games with the same Microsoft account; no Minecraft.net code entry is described for these claims.
What to check if a Minecraft.net code fails
Mojang’s code redemption page advises checking the code for mistyped characters, confirming it has not already been redeemed, and making sure you are using the correct Microsoft account. Codes are single-use. If you received an Aurora Cape code, also check that you are redeeming it before the stated October 31, 2026 deadline.

Can you still get the Twisted Cape?
Not through a new purchase, according to Mojang’s promotions guide: the Twisted Cape, Twisted Chicken, and two skins were available through preorder only. If you already preordered, sign in to Dungeons II with the associated Microsoft account and confirm the preorder items. For a physical preorder, the code included with the copy must first be redeemed in the applicable console platform store.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does the Aurora Cape work in Dungeons II?
No. The Aurora Cape is a Minecraft cosmetic, not a Minecraft Dungeons II item. It comes from watching an eligible livestream during the stated event window, and its claim process and redemption deadline are separate: finish the required watch time by October 14, 2026, then redeem the received code by October 31, 2026. Mojang says supplies are limited.
