If you want another anime game with tactical battles, start with Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium for squad positioning and battlefield choices, or try Arknights for operator-based team planning and base development. Neither is a Code Geass story replacement: they match different parts of what players may enjoy about Lost Stories.
There is also an important service update for Japanese players: the official notice schedules Code Geass: Lost Stories to end service on December 7, 2026. The shutdown notice is specific to Japan; check it for account, data-linking, and refund instructions.

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium: focus on tactical positioning
The official Google Play description emphasizes analyzing the situation and leading Tactical Dolls through stages shaped by cover, mechanisms, and terrain. That makes it the clearest option here if your favorite part of Lost Stories was thinking about where to deploy a squad and how the battlefield affects a fight.

Arknights: focus on operators, team composition, and a base
Arknights offers another kind of anime strategy experience. Its App Store listing describes Operators belonging to different classes, strategy and RPG elements, Auto Deploy, and construction of a base. It is a better fit if you want to plan around a roster and develop an in-game base rather than seek a direct recreation of Lost Stories‘ battles.

Do not read “strategy” as meaning the same combat format: the cited listing does not promise real-time Knightmare Frame combat or a direct one-to-one gameplay match.
LINE Rangers: a temporary Code Geass crossover
The Code Geass official announcement dates its LINE Rangers collaboration from September 30 to October 30, 2026, and names Lelouch, Suzaku, Kallen, C.C., and Xingke alongside themed equipment. This is the option tied to the series’ characters, but it is a time-limited collaboration rather than evidence of a lasting Code Geass game or a close Lost Stories substitute. Since the announced end date has passed, verify in the game or official channels before assuming the event or its content remains available.

What is ending for Code Geass: Lost Stories?
The official Lost Stories notice schedules the end of service for the Japanese version at December 7, 2026, 15:00 Japan time. It separately says purchases of Sakura-dite, the Lost Stories Pass, and the Starter Pack stopped October 7, 2026, at 17:00 Japan time. These dates concern the Japanese service and should not be conflated with older reports about the global service ending in 2024.
The notice gives the claim window for unused paid Sakura-dite as December 7, 2026, 17:00 through February 7, 2027, 15:00 Japan time. It says further details will be provided in-app and through the official X account after service ends, and includes account/player ID and data-linking instructions. Consult the official Lost Stories notice for the current process and any updates. The game’s general site can still show a generic distribution label, so use the dated shutdown announcement for service timing.

Optional Code Geass companion for mecha fans
If you want related reading rather than another game, the Code Geass official site announced Mech R #03: Code Geass 20th anniversary feature magazine, released October 2, 2026. The official page describes an A4 issue with over 80 pages of series coverage, including Knightmare Frame model builds, mechanical design material, product archives, and staff interviews; the stated price is ¥2,420. It is an optional magazine, not a game, manual, or required purchase. Check the listing for language, territory, stock, and current price before ordering.
