Steam lists the game for PC, and the official Steam Community posts discuss the game and its planned features without confirming a Switch edition. That means the Switch claim should be treated as unverified, not as proof that a port is impossible. Until Imago, Feardemic, or Nintendo publishes a platform announcement or eShop listing, there is no confirmed Switch release date, edition, or platform-specific feature set to report.
What do you do in A Game About Breaking A Cube?
Steam describes the game as “a dystopian horror sim.” You play a factory worker under an oppressive corporation, breaking increasingly strange cubes to gather ore and uncover the truth about NullCorp. The premise combines tool upgrades and exploration of an underground facility with a deliberately surreal tone—the store description even mentions relaxing at home with a can of “drinkable meat.”

When does the game come out?
Steam currently gives the planned release window as Q1 2027. That is a quarter-long estimate, not a specific launch date, and the full game is not yet available on the listing. Is there a demo?
Yes. Steam currently lists a demo. In a Steam Community announcement, Imago described it as one full in-game day, lasting approximately 20–30 minutes, with several cubes to break, introductory exploration and story, and a hammer upgrade. That duration is the developer’s estimate, not an independently measured playtime.
Imago also reported in a June 2026 Steam Community post that the demo reached 4,000 players during Next Fest and the game had 11,000 wishlists at that point. These are developer-reported figures from that post, not audited statistics or current totals.

What features are planned for the full game?
Imago has described a larger release with five days underground, four tools—including a laser gun—an upgrade station, additional locations and cubes, achievements, controller support, and two endings. The developer has also described breaking more than 20 cubes, upgrading tools and a suit, and returning home between shifts. These are announced plans; they should not be read as confirmation that every feature is complete or that the game is coming to Switch.
After demo feedback, Imago said it planned clearer instruction about contaminated valuables, an original news format, a weak flashlight for dark areas, graphics-setting improvements, and bug fixes. Those were intentions described in a developer update, not a guarantee that the changes have shipped.

What is confirmed about platforms and languages?
The current Steam listing identifies the game as single-player and lists Steam achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. It lists English interface, full audio, and subtitles, plus Polish interface and subtitles; Polish full audio is not listed.
