You need an internet connection to download and install a game; after that, offline play depends on the individual title.
What a Netflix membership covers
An active Netflix membership gives you access to Netflix mobile games. Netflix says you do not need a separate game account or have to make extra in-game purchases to play. How to download a Netflix mobile game
You need an internet connection and enough available device storage to download and install a game. Netflix’s installation steps are slightly different for Android and Apple devices.
Android phone or tablet
- Open the Netflix app and find the Mobile Games row or Games shortcut.
- Select a game and tap Get Game. Netflix will open its Google Play listing.
- In Google Play, tap Install.
- Open the installed game. If asked, sign in with your Netflix account and choose a profile.
You can also search for the game directly in Google Play. Netflix’s mobile installation instructions cover the flow.

iPhone or iPad
- Open the Netflix app and find the Mobile Games row.
- Select a game and tap Get Game or Play Game to open its App Store listing.
- Use the App Store download button to install the game.
- Open the game and choose a Netflix profile if prompted.
You can also search for the title directly in the App Store.
Device compatibility and games that do not appear
Requirements vary by game. Netflix recommends Android 9, iOS 17, and iPadOS 17 or newer for the best experience across its catalog; these recommendations are not a guarantee that every older device is incompatible. Check the individual game’s support page for its requirements.

If a game is missing from Netflix or an app store, check whether your device meets that title’s requirements and whether the selected Netflix profile’s maturity setting allows it. Netflix’s troubleshooting page for games you can’t find has additional guidance.

Which Netflix profile holds your progress?
Game progress is associated with the Netflix profile selected in the game. Netflix says that deleting the profile permanently deletes its linked progress. Save behavior can also vary by title, so check the game’s support page if keeping or transferring progress matters to you.

Are Netflix games available on TVs and computers?
Netflix also documents TV and computer games, but this is a separate beta experience. It is not available in every country or on every device, and these games are not mobile apps downloaded to a TV or computer. Check Netflix’s current TV and computer games page for availability and supported devices.
Playing on a TV
Netflix recommends a stable internet connection of 10 Mbps or higher and a phone or tablet for each player. The phone or tablet acts as the controller; Netflix says gamepads and other controllers are unsupported.

Playing on a computer
Netflix describes playing through Netflix.com in Chrome or Edge. Some titles require a phone or tablet to act as a controller. The TV and computer beta has different availability and setup from installing a mobile game, so check Netflix’s current instructions before trying it.
