Not based on the latest reported results or company guidance. Micron reported $54.23 billion in fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 revenue, while NVIDIA reported $96.221 billion in fiscal second-quarter 2027 revenue. NVIDIA’s figure was about 1.77 times Micron’s, though the companies’ quarters ended on different dates. Their next-quarter outlooks also leave a substantial gap, and neither company has given a date or probability for a revenue crossover.

How do Micron and NVIDIA’s latest quarterly revenues compare?

Company Reported quarter Quarter ended Revenue Next-quarter outlook
Micron Fiscal Q4 2026 September 3, 2026 $54.23 billion $61.5 billion ± $1.5 billion for fiscal Q1 2027
NVIDIA Fiscal Q2 2027 July 26, 2026 $96.221 billion $108.0 billion ± 2% for fiscal Q3 2027

These are company-reported revenue figures from Micron’s September 30, 2026 earnings release and NVIDIA’s August 26, 2026 earnings release. They are the latest reported figures cited here, but they do not cover matching calendar periods: Micron’s quarter ended more than five weeks after NVIDIA’s.

On the reported amounts, Micron’s revenue was about 56% of NVIDIA’s. Comparing revenue means comparing sales, not profit, market value, or revenue from a single business segment.

What do the companies’ growth figures show?

Micron’s fiscal Q4 revenue rose from $11.32 billion in fiscal Q4 2025 to $54.23 billion in fiscal Q4 2026—about 4.8 times as much, or roughly 379% higher year over year. It also increased from $41.46 billion in fiscal Q3 2026, a sequential rise of about 31%.

  • Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure
  • A 2.5-slot design maximizes compatibility and cooling efficiency for superior performance in small chassis

NVIDIA reported $96.221 billion in fiscal Q2 2027 revenue, up 106% year over year. Its Data Center segment accounted for $89.0 billion of that quarter’s revenue, according to the company’s August 26, 2026 release.

Those figures show rapid growth at both companies, but growth rates do not establish when—or whether—Micron will pass NVIDIA. The companies sell different mixes of products and report on different fiscal calendars. A large percentage increase from a smaller revenue base can still leave a substantial gap in total sales.

Do the next-quarter outlooks point to a crossover?

No. Micron’s September 30, 2026 outlook for fiscal Q1 2027 was $61.5 billion, plus or minus $1.5 billion. NVIDIA’s August 26, 2026 outlook for fiscal Q3 2027 was $108.0 billion, plus or minus 2%. Even comparing the top of Micron’s stated range with the bottom of NVIDIA’s range leaves a wide difference. These are forward-looking company estimates, not reported results or guarantees; outlooks can change.

When could Micron generate more quarterly revenue than NVIDIA?

The cited company releases do not establish a date or probability for a crossover. Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said in the September 30, 2026 release that the company expected an even stronger fiscal 2027. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang described AI demand and computing revenue in the August 26, 2026 release. These are management statements, not independent forecasts of which company will have higher quarterly revenue.

  • 3.6-slot design with massive fin array optimized for airflow from three Axial-tech fans
  • Phase-change GPU thermal pad helps ensure optimal thermal performance and longevity, outlasting traditional thermal paste for graphics cards under heavy loads

Micron’s fiscal 2026 revenue was $133.188 billion; NVIDIA’s fiscal 2026 revenue was $215.938 billion. Those full-year totals provide additional context, but they do not predict a future quarter’s ranking. The defensible answer to “may soon” is that a crossover is possible in principle, but the latest results and outlooks do not support calling it imminent or assigning it a date.
