To review apps authorized on your Discord account, open User Settings > Authorized Apps. Choose Deauthorize beside an app on desktop or browser, or tap the x beside it on mobile. This only removes apps authorized directly on your account; server-installed apps and linked accounts use different controls.
Review and remove account-authorized apps
Discord’s Authorized Apps page lists apps installed directly to your account. Use the instructions for the client you’re using:
Desktop or browser
- Select the cogwheel in the lower-left area of Discord to open User Settings.
- Select Authorized Apps.
- Review the list and select Deauthorize beside each app you no longer want authorized.
Mobile
- Tap your avatar in the bottom-right to open the profile area.
- Tap the cogwheel in the upper-right to open settings.
- Open Authorized Apps, then tap the x beside an app you want to remove.
Discord says account-installed apps can access information you authorized. It also says these apps cannot access server or DM information except information exposed when you interact with them. See Discord’s Authorized Apps guidance.
Check whether the app is installed on your account or a server
An app added to your account is not the same as an app installed in a server. The distinction determines where you can remove it and who has permission to do so.

Discord describes the difference in its Apps on Discord help article. If you are an ordinary member without the required server permission, ask a server admin to remove the app or leave the server if you do not want to be in a server where it is installed.
Disconnect linked accounts separately
Linked accounts such as Spotify, Xbox, or PlayStation are managed under User Settings > Connections, not Authorized Apps. Disconnecting a Connection revokes Discord’s access to that account going forward and, according to Discord, permanently deletes information Discord collected from its records. Some provider integrations also require a separate disconnect on the provider’s site: Discord’s Crunchyroll Connection FAQ says to remove the connection in both Discord and Crunchyroll settings to fully unlink it.

Disconnecting a linked account may also remove access to a channel gated by a linked role. If you only want to stop displaying the account or sharing activity, check the relevant Connection visibility and activity controls instead of disconnecting it. Discord explains Connections and their controls in its Account Connections FAQ and Data Privacy Controls.
If you suspect someone accessed your account
Removing an app is only one part of responding to suspected account compromise. Discord advises resetting your password, ensuring Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled, and reviewing Authorized Apps to remove access you do not recognize. It also recommends that Windows users run a Windows Defender scan in this compromise context; that scan is not a required step for a routine app review.

Discord warns users to avoid suspicious links and downloads, including fake games or “free Nitro” offers. Its Help Center says: “To keep your Discord account safe, always avoid clicking on links or downloading files from unknown or untrusted sources.”

The instructions above apply when you can access your Discord account. If you cannot log in or the setting is missing, the cited Discord guidance does not establish a specific recovery path for that situation. Use Discord’s official Help Center rather than a third-party service claiming it can revoke Discord authorizations. Settings names or routes can vary as Discord updates its clients, so check the labels in your current app or browser.
