A horror-game wishlist is most useful when it tells you both what kind of fear a game promises and how certain its release status is. These six candidates from available roundup listings span survival, psychological, co-op, and action horror—but they are not a verified roster of the fourteen games in the original headline. Several listed dates have already passed, so check the current store page before treating any as upcoming.
How to use this list
The titles below are discovery leads from secondary game roundups, not a confirmed set of fourteen. The available sources do not establish current store pages or wishlist links for every game. Release dates below are attributed to those listings and should not be treated as current official dates without confirmation.

For broader discovery, GameSpot’s horror-games roundup describes a list with store links for wishlisting and distinguishes firm dates from TBA windows. It is older coverage, however, not a current release calendar.
Games to investigate by horror style
Action and survival horror
- Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival — Survival Horrors describes first-person action survival horror built around the Genesis Configuration puzzle box and Pinhead. Its listing gives an October 8, 2026 release date. Confirm the date, platforms, and live wishlist destination on an official publisher or store page before relying on them.
- Silver Pines — The listing describes a survival-horror metroidvania with puzzles and scarce-resource management, dated October 8, 2026. That date comes from a secondary listing; check the official game or store page for current timing and platform details.
- I Hate This Place — Dunia Games describes an isometric survival-horror game featuring weapon crafting and survival items. Its January 29, 2026 date has passed as of October 7, 2026, so check whether it has launched or whether its status changed before adding it as an upcoming game.
Psychological, atmospheric, and experimental horror
- Welcome to Doll Town — Dunia Games frames this as psychological horror focused on mystery and atmosphere. The roundup listed February 13, 2026, a date that has passed; verify availability before treating it as unreleased.
- Tenebris Somnia — Survival Horrors describes a 2D survival-horror adventure with live-action cutscenes, puzzles, and combat. Its October 16, 2026 date is a secondary listing and should be checked against an official page.
- Dreamcore — GameSpot uses this as an example of liminal-space horror in its older roundup. The cited page supports the genre description and says its roundup includes wishlist store links, but it does not establish Dreamcore’s current release status.
Co-op horror
- Reanimal — Dunia Games describes a two-player co-op horror adventure and listed February 13, 2026. Because that date is past, check the current game or store page to determine whether it released, was delayed, or has another status.
Check the release status before wishlisting
A date in an older roundup is not proof that a game is still upcoming. The three dates listed by Dunia Games—January 29 and February 13, 2026—are past as of October 7, 2026. The October 8 dates attributed to Survival Horrors are also close enough to warrant checking the current official listing rather than assuming the schedule has held.

Before acting on any entry, look for a current publisher, developer, or digital-store page and confirm the platform and release status there. Store wishlist availability is page-specific; the cited roundups do not establish a live wishlist destination for each candidate. A wishlist link also does not, by itself, indicate an affiliate relationship.
What this selection can—and cannot—tell you
The available evidence supports a handful of genre descriptions and secondary-listing dates, not a definitive fourteen-game lineup. It does not establish the intended roster, a complete platform comparison, or current official wishlist links for all fourteen. Use the entries as leads, and make the final decision from current game or store pages.
